  1. DM 2-0 Ufa 84 mins 3-0, 94 mins 3-0 FT
  2. The Ufa defence has just been breached, 63rd minute Dynamo Moscow 1 Ufa 0
  3. Isn't it about changing the soft loans into equity. They've already put the money in.
  4. A professional Rangers supporter !!!
  5. Re. McCormack Just make sure he doesn't live somewhere with an electric gate and everything would be fine
  6. With an away trip to Russia on the horizon, you'll be giving both the BBC and BBC Scotland ideas for a double whammy.
  7. Gerrard would have got to know Middleton at the Toulon tournament in the summer and he'd obviously seen enough to trust him with gametime from the off. It's then down to the player to show he can cope and play. I think he'll continue to get minutes rather than games.
  8. He deserves his chance to get on the field, see how he goes and go from there. However, I don't think you can depend on him at this stage for regular football and hence we need someone else in. I'd agree that Sadiq looks like a fish out of water. I know he needs a chance but who would be confident if Morelos was out, with him starting up front?
  9. Those on the panel would probably protest but the declared transpareny should trump that. If the prcess is robust, no need to hide it.
  10. Whoever has the TV contract should get to televise the process and fill an hour of their programming during the week.
  11. Halliday could end up with a lot more starts this season than anyone could have envisaged.
  12. RB: Tav / Flanagan LB: Barisic / Flanagan / Wallace I wonder if SG is considering using Wallace given it might be difficult to shift him. He's a Gerrard type of defender, big and physical. edit Forgot Halliday !! No need for further FB cover.
  13. We needed players in and if there was any doubt that a creative player was needed then Murphys injury takes that away. Losing Windass and Murphy (for X months) needs addressed as do other positions. Middleton is raw and I don't think he's ready for first team football week in week out. Sub appearences and if he does well, some starts should be the order of the day.
  14. We need a forward in before the Wildcard deadline for Europe. 11pm Wednesday night, I think.
  15. If he were a Celtic player, this news would be in the press, accompanied by talk of 10M transfer fees.
  16. Pedantic correction but it was Chris Bennentt (not Mark). Podcast of Fridays programme https://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/play/p06hs39f I note that they haven't put up a podcast for yesterday,...they usually do. They have certainly got mileage out of Kyle Lafferty. How many times has his red card against Aberdeen (simulation) been mentioned over the years.
  17. Perhaps a note made to observe progress but I very much doubt there will be any firm interest as yet at a club that SG would see as progression. The plus is that the one club we know he wants to manage one day (Liverpool) has an excellent manager and are operating at a level that won't consider SG for the main job until he compiles a body of work that suggests he's ready. I think SG will want to win the League up here before he goes. I'd settle for him leaving at the end of 19/20, if we were to win the League that season.
  18. I don't think Sadiq is trusted unless we are a couple of goals to the good. Desperately need decent back-up.
  19. I'd be more inclined to consider that had it not been with the last two managers.
  20. Yes
  21. Might suit those who have decided to leave Scotland at the end of their stint. From C.O. @ the SFA................to SFA on a beach in COsamui
  22. We have been a big fish in a small pool and that was enough for many. You listen to Ian Durrant and Derek Ferguson talk of how our fitness was way behind that of clubs like Hearts and you relate that to so many nights in Europe where the opposition were stronger, faster, fitter and had better players than Hearts. The obvious 'problem' that would arise if SG&Co continue in the same vein, is keeping them. I'd hope that SG sees this job and main objective (winning the League) as one he wants to tick off before he were to go.
  23. "Lazy stereotypes" have always been a tool of a sub standard and repetitive Scottish fitbaw media pack. Generally, Scottish fitbaw gets the media it deserves. It's a low end quality enviroment and most things around it, from the pies to players, to the press represent that.
  24. In this case, I think it's more the colour of the shirt, than of his skin that is the underlying reason behind the skewed observations that come his way from the 'usual suspects'.
  25. Reflecting on decades of supporting the club, I often think we haven't made the most out of what we had. We are a big club who most of the time didn't have a completely solid professional approach/set-up. What is most encouraging about the new management and coaching staff is that you get the distinct impression that they bring real professionalism with them. Professionalism will help make the base we are building more solid. Single results may go against us but the big picture and medium term look good.
