    Who stays?

Yes, I have told you. If you choose not to, or simply can't see it. Then it would help explain your lack of awareness. I've been talking about this type of thing for years and I can assure you that I buy nobody's party line. Right or wrong, I call it, as I see it. What I have been saying for years is coming to a head of sorts. Now we have new executive management coming in. Questions for them will be about finance/strategy.

    Who stays?

As a club, our priority is to get on an even financial keel. Keep digging the financial hole deeper and the threat may become existential. We don't have a right to success. We are skint and can't suddenly make up the ground just because we are Rangers. We have repeatedly fucked up badly and will have to suffer some more. On the pitch, there will be ups and downs. Get used to it.

Just one more fix, then everything will be fine. A defender, a midfielder and a forward who are not going to cost anything will have us beating Celtic and challenging for the title. Everything will be fine again. Just one more fix, please. Got a quid for a cup of coffee, mister?

What did John Bennett try and make very clear ? Austerity & Patience. What is it we are all talking about on here ? Change manager and a good chunk of the playing squad, AGAIN. What aren't we talking about ? Where the Money is coming from. The fanbase appear to have forgotten about austerity and patience. They are addicted to and are pushing for another short term fix. Thus ensuring the continued and what would be, deepening financial hole. In 2012, we all talked about priorities. We have forgotten about that as well.

    Who stays?

Cammy, yes it is like that. Fan impatience and in recent years, unrealistic expectation levels, have contributed to bad decision making at board level. That isn't to give the board a free pass, far from it. They should have had the savvy and courage to do the necessary wrt real austerity and sorting our finances out. ----------------- Reminds me of kids chucking their toys out the pram and demanding new ones when their single parent is holding down 3 jobs, just to put food on the table. Then the kid tells the single parent that it is all their fault for buying new toys instead of putting food in the table.

  7. I don't know what will happen with the manager but I'd imagine it'll mostly be about trying to get to a firmer financial footing. Increase revenue Reduce costs Player trading We've talked about all this on numerous occasions but we have never got to the promised land. Mostly down to poor executive management and the lack of balls to keep to a strategy during short term panic.
  8. There appears to be new executive management incoming. They will have a remit that won't be about, "sinking into oblivion". Lets see what they do. We'll need to show some patience or 1 title in 14 years will start to look like the good old days.
  9. Pay off the manager Get a better manager in Get better quality executive management in Get better quality players in Get rid of the dead wood Do it now, beat Celtic now challenge for the title now Then do it all again in a year
  10. First thing should be bringing in a competent and hardy CEO.
  11. From a basket case of a political party to a binfire of a football club.
  12. Good to see us reeling in the points gap to Aberdeen.
  13. KO delayed to 1545 due to expected late arrival of Dundee Utd bus
  14. 8 domestic home wins this season, 100% record. 19 goals scored 2 conceded (including a proper OG)
  15. No worries DA, I should have made it clearer. You said that "the steel was always touch and go". It makes the supposed surprise and lack of stadium contingency all the worse. Scary bad executive management.
  16. I didn't refer to the steel. I referred to there being no contingency as to a backup stadium.
  17. Shit happens! Problem was that there was no contingency set-up.
  18. Thanks Rab ! Unless we sell or get significant wages out the door, I don't see how we can spend much money. That was the approach to the summer window and things have since got worse.
  19. Rab, promised by whom?
  20. The Kevin Clancy of Gersnet 🤣
  21. I hope your promotion is more successful but....
  22. It worked with Bisgrove, oh wait a minute.......
  23. Give Gonzales the job. He ain't got much else to do
  24. Certainly a week in July for Jock.
  25. What it means is we not only do we continue to take outside bets on just about everything, but we are lengthening the odds. You wouldn't think that player trading is supposedly our route to the promised land. It is like a gambler who is no longer in control. What happens if a new CEO wants to change things again ? Has he/she already had a say ?
