SG himself has said he'd like the club to improve AM's contract. Now, what do we do ? What we can't do is let relationships go down the tubes and have him leave for next to nothing. Ideally get someone else in tomorrow and take the first opportunity to offload.

They may forgive him but they can't trust him.

I said after the Aberdeen game that SG had a decision to make regards whether he could trust Alfredo and if he thought it better to look elsewhere, he could take advantage that the window was open. Despite the goals, the problem remains but the window is very nearly shut. So it looks like we'll have to go with him until at least January. I'd be looking elsewhere.

We've put together an excellent background team with an inspirational leader. Then the board have supported the football operation, who have done sterling work in the transfer window. All round, excellent management at all levels.
