  1. I've never seen projections like this ever come to fruition on messageboards. As WTDado says, one game at a time..............
  2. A footballer posting pics of his tadger on social media,..........whatever could go wrong ? Lafferty is one of these footballers with a self-destruct buton. The problem here might be ongoing domestic issues that don't do him any favours for his football. SG and the club can support him but can't tell Mrs Lafferty what to do.
  3. EPL tends to be a difficult league to predict games apart from the likes of Man City v Burnley, in which the bookies aren't giving anything away (saw a price of 1/14 for the home win ). On a sidenote, good to see Newcastle at the bottom. If the likes of Brighton can pick up 3 points from St.James Park then the MASH Machine is in real trouble.
  4. No faffing about today. We need to get out, do a professional job and win this game with something to spare. If we get the win, it'd be the first time SG has enjoyed 3 consecutive wins. #DWDDWWDWWDDLWDWWLWW
  5. We should know by now wrt Mr.MASH/SDI, that what matters is the final result, not selected paragraphs.
  6. Always prefer to see the opposition getting talked up prior to these games. It's what said afterwards that matters.
  7. Well done elfideldo, for reaching the 10th anniversery ! Thanks very much for your dedication and services to keep the support so well informed of what is going on with the various youth teams.
  8. Not everyone is a Captain of Industry who now spends his life patrolling or is that polarizing messageboads, instead of sailing in the Caribbean.

    Semi Final

It's quite a competitive race to be the most pathetic between Aberdeen FC, their fans and the PQ sheep.

    Semi Final

Hampden ticket allocation controversy is about as reliable event in the Scottish fitbaw calander as you get. Just as the pundits conversations on the matter might aswell be tapes from any year from the past decade. You'd think they'd have come up with set recognised ways to deal with the various potential circumstances by now that the clubs could sign up to in advance. It shouldn't be rocket science.
  11. On the face of it, it looks more like a somewhat clumsy attempt to encourage members to donate and raise funds. Politically, the numbers involved won't change ballot results but those affected will be left with a sour taste and it opens a front for comments like sinister. #OG
  12. Oouchie ! Shame that Ikpeazu won't be able to play the semi-final next week. Thinking back to the goal in August that beat Celtic, it was brilliant play by Ikpeazu that set-up Lafferty for a sublime finish. Now they are without the both of them. A wee slide down the table is in the offing.

    Semi Final

They are but had the semi-final been in Aberdeen then the respective numbers would be very different.
  14. With all due respect, it was bullshit then and it still is. Middleton is an excellent young footballer but isn't at this point in time ready for the full International squad. In his career to date, he's played 79 minutes in League football, spread over 4 sub appearences. He's had one full 90 minutes in his first team career, a League Cup game............and a total of 70 minutes in a handful of sub appearences in the Europa League.
  15. At the top end and given KB's career he's included, I'd agree. One thing about KB, apparently he volunteered to give up a relatively significant sum of cash when moving from Kilmarnock to Rangers and diverted it to the Killie youth system.
  16. It is what it is, he'll make some donations to charity and he'll make some cash for himself. Punters can decide if they want to contribute to the pot.
  17. At face value, the 'gamble' that he'll get a regular game would be longer odds in the 2nd tier as opposed to the 3rd. That said, it'll also depend on variants that go beyond the simple 2nd is more difficult than 3rd, eg. form of teammates in the same position. He's not been starting recent league games but the support seem to like him, his workrate and goal threat. He's got to stick-in and make the loan spell work or his career may drift backwards. His attitude is good and that should stand him in good stead.

    Semi Final

Simples,..... fine them for 75% of the amount lost and take it directly from their share of gate money.
  19. Complete with your 'family spokesman' Jack Irvine, otherwise known as *unt.
  20. All in all, a somewhat mysterious, very last minute and unilateral call-off that has the folk at N.I. so peeved that they may risk a 'permanent call-off' to invoke the 5 day rule. Can't really complain, thems the rules. We won't have Lafferty or Morelos for the semi-final and we might end up trialing a new set-up in the second half at Hamilton. Perhaps a plus, perhaps better to keep it a secret.
  21. Problem is our historic footballing tradition of managing to make as little as possible from decent ability. Funnily enough, we are probably the best in the world at it. Re. Wallace: I don't know@Scott7
  22. Never forget how happy I was when on returning from a school trip to Loch Tay that Coop had signed. #Genius
  23. Of all the places for Black to get his cap, Easter Road was never going to be the best reception. When did Wallace get booed ? Bringing it up to date, I'm not aware of McGregor being booed on Sunday.
  24. Individually fine but collectively that equates to hoisting a white flag and signing up for constant sunshine, even when it's pouring rain. 26th does an excellent job on this thread and there isn't an obligation to open it. Nor for compo to tell us all every f**king week about it being better not to listen to PQ output
  25. Albania didn't score a goal in 180 minutes. Middleton is raw talent, didn't get a start for the under 21s and isn't yet ready for the full International squad (although that could change quickly if he begins to start games for us and does well). This whilst GMS is actually in good form, has been showing an end product and his set-up for the Naismith consolation goal on Sunday was eye-catchingly good. McCrorie is pretty much in the same boat as Middleton and Shinnie is rightly ahead of him in the pecking order, although I'd expect that to change during the next 18 months. Bates plays for Hamburg.
