It's nothing to do with their sensibilities, it's about shooting yourself in the foot. If it makes you feel better, look in a mirror at home and shout FTP all you want (make sure any children aren't filming you) but when you want to challenge the RC church on their part in Industrial scale child rape, better to keep to the point (unless it's in an art form such as a song or painting).
-
The Tims would love us to keep shouting FTP.

The King of Ibrox Park was good enough to score four goals in the first match I ever attended. Him and Sandy Jardine were my first two heroes.

It doesn't matter what you or anyone else using the term thinks. The fact is that by doing so you make it much easier for our detractors/RC Church to point the finger at whoever it is saying FTP and shout 'bigot'. If you want to address the diegraceful issue of industrial scale child rape, then attempt to push those responsible into a corner rather than opening the door for them to leave.

I don't think it the best way to put your point accross unless you want to give them an easy out.

Thanks for your efforts lads, much appreciated ! -
That Hibs game certainly tests a theory that I tend to agree with in most cases.

Misc. useless fact I think he was manager of the team (Valencia) when we last took a point from a CL group stage home game.

Reliable as ever, Bill ! I see you are doing more of what you usually shout about,...ignoring me. But then Mr Walking Contradiction has a reputation to maintain. Whilst in the same post, helping to prove an observation I made about you a few weeks ago.....that you are yourself, often exactly what you are calling others out for. In this case "pathetic" has to be pretty much what you'd call your attemped dig towards me. Pathetic Walking Contradiction (PWC)...have you anymore room to fit that in with the description below your username, that incidently you must have happened upon whilst doing some of that contradictory ignoring of me.

Who knows ? Mibbes she knew, mibbes she didnae. The most relevant part of this for me is getting Lafferty back on the rails wrt football, or perhaps that should be preventing him go off them.

Agreed but as a club who are looking to get the best out of a player on the pitch, I think behind the scenes we should try to get to the bottom of it, help where and if possible. On the pitch he has been going fairly well, looking lean and with a decent attitude. SG desperately needs his second centre forward option available and firing....so the bottomline will be doing whatever he considers best to not have a spanner thrown into the works. A short, sharp word in his ear from SG may be considered enough but will probably only kick the can down the road a bit.

Aye and it lends to an approach that really goes for it early doors and catches them cold before they settle.

Coming off a European match (injuries or not) and without our two centre forwards will have the sheep fancying their chances. Thanks to the Morelos yellow card against Ayr United, we've basically got to find a new way of playing, with very little preperation time to work on it. It was in the opening league fixture that I saw that Gerrard and his staff were capable of thinking on their feet and his players capable of making a new approach work. This gives me a degree of confidence that we'll come up with something that can work.

I don't think it reasonable to expect a 22 year old girl to block or seriously discourage a relatively famous footballer. If it developed into a stitch-up to make money then it followed a not uncommon path which footballers or other people in the public eye should be more than aware of when engaging in social media. The more fundamental question is why did KL go down this dangerous path when he has a young family and knows of the pitfalls of sending pics of your tadger to the whole world. It suggests he has 'issues' of one kind or another and may need some help.

9 League games 2 against 'big teams' = 2 defeats 7 against 'diddy teams' = 7 wins 'The Aberdeen of England' They have Liverpool at home on the 3rd of November, when we'll get a better idea of their progress.

The only thing MS is bothered about is being proven right. It's an example of what the internet/social media has helped bring to 'debate'. Polarisation generally tends to be at a higher or more extreme level and it's often the need to be seen to be right that is more important to the protaginists than anything concerning the subject matter.... However, all you ever get is two or more people shouting at each other. It has become very easy for the powers that be to deflect, divide and get on with their agenda. Trump is probably the best instigator of it.

You said it was "well said" by Durrant, are you saying you aren't very smart either ? It was stupid at all levels. Durrant and those who thought it a good idea to post the footage online. Thing is, the ONLY THING the F the P line does is that it enables the other side to point at us and shout bigot. It also helps avoid any debate in areas where they are much weaker. The powerful lobby that the RC church have behind them is difficult enough to take on without handing them countless OG's.
-
All round stupidity.

A bit early for the newspaper articles on his comeback. Time to work hard and get some gametime where possible. Good Luck to the lad.

Makes our preperation wrt tactics that bit more difficult, opposition become more unpredictable.
