  1. They say better late than never Sunday Sportsound podcast lasted 62 minutes and covered two games, Hamilton v Rangers and Celtic v Motherwell. Our game got 19 minutes and the Celtic game got 43 minutes #EditoriallyFair
  2. I've just listened to the original interview (link below) and it doesn't mention anything about harrassment by Celtic fans. Unless interview has been edited or above tweet refers to a different interview, the claim is inaccurate. http://www.wradio.com.co/amp/nota.aspx?id=3869470&__twitter_impression=true
  3. It includes two Cup games against Kilmarnock that we never got a yellow card which always helps avoid damaging suspensions further down the line. We didn't get any yellows last night either. By my reckoning and soccerways stats, we have two players (Arfield and Goldson) who are one yellow card away from a suspension. If that is correct then if they were to be booked in our next league match at Easter Road, they'd miss the trip to the Brendanlessbeu. I might be wrong but I think Morelos is 2 yellow cards (League) away from incurring another suspension.
  4. Logic when taking account recent form might suggest a straightforward task but the sheep is a wounded animal and their season is backed into a corner with only a chink of light visible. That light could go out this weekend but you can bet your last penny that they'll be fully up for a competitive scrap that we'll need to match. Above and beyond recent form, we need to go into the game with the right attitude.
  5. Translation Service (afternoon shift) "What a cool wee video" : ..........I wid, aw roads.
  6. It brings a little uncertainty to the situation but until it becomes tangible in the form of them dropping points I don't think it changes much in the mindset because it has been very positive in the last two games. The general mood music will be set according to the result at Tynecastle tonight in both camps. We have to return 3 points tonight, a non-negotiable.
  7. You wonder if SG might take into account the weekend Cup-tie at Aberdeen and make a change or two. ---------------- Meaningless aside The last 10 competitive games have seen us score in pairs. The chronological order....1, 1, 3, 3, 4, 4, 0,0, 5, 5 Will the next two be... 2, 2... ?
  8. Translations - I would like to play in the premier League - There are many teams interested, many that have come to see me play. The most probable is that I will leave (Rangers) in the summer. The amount of goals I'm scoring has to have been talked about all over Europe. - It's complicated to play against Aberdeen. I've had some very bad luck. The defenders are always bumping into you and fighting but I have to have more composure and keep the head.
  9. Attempts that are so basically half baked will fall on their arse and whilst it may point to a willingness, it also highlights a lack of political gumption that the VB tend to cover-up with often well received but ultimately empty rhetoric. Rather than get on Beargers back for his personal politics and having the audacity to point out the flaw, better to push for your old colleagues at the VB to get things right instead of making things so easy for Dornan&Co to dismiss.
  10. Kudos and thanks to Jonatan Johansson for bringing the lad to our attention. It just shows you that there are real players out there to be had for relatively small fees if your scouts know their stuff. With JJ it would seem to have been local knowledge/contacts in an area that won't get much attention. Time to stop buying so many players that are past their prime and ripe for the treatment room or being put out to pasture.
  11. Thanks to those involved in the podcast this week. A delayed listen was just the ticket for an hour without having to suffer the seemingly never-ending overspill from Brendangate.

  13. When you think about it, they usually start with a bang over that way..... Strachan brought us Artmedia 5-0 Lennon went to Hampden and got pumped 2-0 by lower league Ross County I hope whoever is in the dug-out for them at Tynecastle keeps up the tradition.
  14. Hence, the need for surgical precision regards the presentation of our case. We need an excellent lawyer with accurate and immediate strike capability rather than Jim Traynor, who employs a metaphorical blunderbuss.
  15. Official word from the PLC Celtic Football Club today confirmed that it has been approached by Leicester City FC to speak to Brendan Rodgers with regards to their current managerial vacancy. Brendan has indicated to the Club that this is an opportunity he wishes to investigate further and therefore, very reluctantly, the Club has granted him permission to speak to Leicester City.
  16. Hartson and his inside track...........
  17. Can you imagine if they imploded and we managed to win the title........ Rodgers would be viewed as THE naughtiest of bhoys by the Groin Brigarde, rather than the Messiah......and Lawwell would probably be forced out.
  18. Within the confines of Scottish Fitbaw Hackland, he is a one man lobby group awarded untouchable status. If Celtic were thinking about their position within the sectarian debate, the appointment could be viewed as an excellent move.
  19. A Lennon appointment would point toward a cash rich club hanging-on to a biscuit tin mentality whilst pressing the same old buttons. The negative would be Lennon back into the frontline of Scottish football and all that this brings with it. The positive is that it would seem that they are happy enough to try and just about stay ahead of us, rather than spend some real money from that brimming bank account and make the gap wider. IMO, this and the messages it sends, significantly improves our chances of stopping 10IAR.
  20. Interesting ! Two defeats in Edinburgh for them this week would be sweet. Lennon being brought in to calm the sectarian divide could be viewed by some to be corporate irresponsibility
  21. Whataboutery is becoming quite a significant and convenient word in that an increasing online arguing world will embrace it gladly. Tis simply A'Tool for the Sluggers in a debate/argument to discredit/nullify tuther side. It's a word specifically designed for propaganda usage and has little to no validity. A debate or argument is a debate or argument ? not an English monologue trumpeted by an Irishman, alongside a Scottish Nationalist (Monday Sportsound).
  22. Good to see 'follow-up' from the Stewart Robertson interview (RTV). However, in an ideal world it wouldn't be Jim Traynor with the delivery. We gave him his first job (contract) in PR and what we've had in return is very much a beginner whose style is so ingrained it won't change. I'd much rather have a combative lawyer who knew his stuff but boxed clever. I appreciate that may be costly but how much do we want this sorted.
  23. Breaking A Foreign referee, Deniz Aytekin from Germany has just sent off a sellick player (and booked broon). ........
  24. I think they are giving us an opportunity to highlight the Editorial Fairness Deficit. #FollowUp
  25. #EditoriallyFair Powerful and well established lobby group influence in play and what tends to happen ? What they say and support is much more equal than tuther side of fence. It's ironic but we are becoming the Palestinians of Glasgow.
