  1. "The two laid hands on each other..." I'm sure that's how BBC Scotland reported the incident at Tynecastle between Neil Lennon and John Wilson
  2. The triangular passing can look good but unless we do more with the possession in the last third it will count for little. Bottomline is that we still miss the creative link between middle to front and it often becomes very apparent in games against top six sides. As it stands, we need someone (usually Morelos, sometimes Tav/Kent) to play out of their skin and make things happen. That doesn't always happen and hence our results are inconsistent. We don't get beat much but we do draw a lot of games against sides we should be beating on balance of play. However, balance of play without end product won't get us anywhere. Our squad is what it is and I wouldn't expect much to change in what is left of this season. However, we are capable of the odd 'almost perfect performance' and this is what we need to bring to the table in the Scottish Cup.
  3. Do you know why I used the.... Maybe you should......line ? It was a sarcastic response to you using the "Maybe they should..." line in the post I was replying to. In other words, look in the mirror and repeat your latest sermon. Now that you have recognised the right of X to donate their money as they see fit and it has nothing to do with child abuse, you now invoke the 'yahoosympathiser' line........ Akin to a man stumbling backwards grabbing hold of fresh air. I can understand why people on here might be reluctant to praise Celtic supporters for doing anything, fine. I wouldn't have bothered myself, until I saw someone had posted an article, which got the customary and reprehensible call for the genocide of all the Palestinian people from the usual suspect, followed by irrelevant and inaccurate comparisons. The Palestinians are human beings who are heavily disadvantaged at various levels and good on ANYONE or GROUP who want to donate money to them. At the same time, there is no pressure on anyone to do so and if they have a problem with it, they could at least attempt to be civil and accurate.
  4. It's really about the Cup now. We've simply got to get past Aberdeen next week, no excuses.
  5. The bench didn't have enough positive attacking options. 9 J. Defoe for S. Arfield 79' 10 S. Davis 13 W. Foderingham 15 J. Flanagan 17 Ross McCrorie 19 N. Katić 23 L. Coulibaly
  6. When you look at the list of results, it wasn't a big surprise. Now 6 out of 18 or 1 in every 3. The frustrating thing is WE ARE so much better tan Hibs and Aberdeen yet have won 1 game in the eight we have played against them with 5 draws.
  7. Just to rub it in, I think Goldson's yellow means he's suspended for the Celtic game.
  8. Maybe you shouldn't preach to people what to do with their money #freedom
  9. How about a Beach Volleyball team ? Rangers fans could follow the mens fitbaw in the winter and the womens beach volleyball in the summer.
  10. Getting business done as early as possible is vital for the club given how important the European qualifiers are.
  11. No it isn't. Celtic supporters raising a fair bit of money for Palestinian charities deserves praise. To say their people get a raw deal on various levels is putting it very mildly. It was the Palesinian representative who visited Parkhead, not a terrorist.
  12. I'll send Graeme Souness round so you can tell him to his face
  13. He was first on the first list.
  14. Two Ibrox stands named after sons of Edinburgh with another sat in the Directors Box with the title of Greatest Ever Ranger. Edinburgh Rangers ??
  15. I think it hinges on Arfield and Morelos. If Arfield is fit enough to do a job and link with a Morelos is fully up for it and can finish a couple of chances. The rest of the team is fairly functional and reasonably consistent.
  16. Yes, the list could go on and on......... Willie Woodburn and George Young
  17. I don't think we'd miss those who advocate genocide. A bivvy on Rockall with no internet connection would suffice.
  18. Where would Rangers be without East Coasters ? Wallace Baxter Greig Jardine Johnstone Forlanssister etc
  19. I reckon the club may have offered Morelos a competitive financial package that is aimed at trying to keep him at Ibrox for another season, so as to help win the title back. You take Alfredo out of our team and there is a massive hole to fill. Dedicating some of the budget towards the Columbian would make sense. Obviously if silly money is offered and turns Alfredo's head, he may still be off but I think SG&Co want to keep him for an all-out attempt at the league.
  20. Last visit saw a Steak Performance but a Mince Result that was mainly down to Alfredo and perfomance/finishing. We are very Alfredo Reliant and other teams know this and still can't stop him when he's on his game #Unplayable
  21. This would be an excellent signing and it would help show a football operation going down the right road both on and off field. I think it's important to get the bright Scottish youngsters in and to do it on the relative cheap, even better.
  22. I think Arfield has a habit of telling Gerrard that he's fit enough to start, even when he isn't and given the lack of options for his spot, SG tends to play him with fingers crossed....At a push, you could put Grezda on the left and Kent in the middle but a start for the Albanian might be a bigger risk than a XX % fit Arfield.....so as per your line-up, t the latter will probably start. Always good to see McCrorie in for this type of fixture and Kamara didn't do his case any harm last week when he showed he could battle up at Aberdeen. Glad to see a settled central defence at last. No surprise it has co-incided with our best run of results. However, we now go up against the most challenging run of domestic fixtures of the season at the business end. It's a list of 11 to 13 maximum matches all but one against the better half of the top tier and the exception is a difficult away game at Motherwell. Celtic (Hampden) Final If you look at our league results against those same teams up until this point, it shows the improvement required if we are to finish the season positively. 23. IIRC scrote said it wasn't a top tier club.
  24. All involved in this from clubs to polis to fan reaction to the way the media milk it..................Predictable and Pathetic
