Like Big Jaws, looking forward to the YD feature. As for Parlane, he was the 'King of Ibrox Park' when I was a lad !.... ⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽

Yes, you both settled down quickly #Fluid What happened to the youth development ?...Under 18s go to extra time / 19th hole ???

Was excellent for a first go Andy Little added insight and real value. Chris Jack sounded more nervous than you at the beginning !!

G has to be for Greig, John Greig

Will be interesting to see how Man City react to the elimination. You also have to question how Spurs will react after such a great result. 11/1 is generous to the point of a cheeky fiver without question but tbh I don't think they'll win. or perhaps a 7/1 Spurs win (Draw No Bet)

It will push Strict Liability down the Sportsound running order unless of course, we are involved.

Just say we have or did have an interest in Shinnie, you'd have arguably the two best midfielders to come out of the UK in the past three decades (Gerrard & Lampard) after him -

That had slipped my mind. One of the reasons it looks so good is that it doesn't have a sponsers name on it.

Will save it for later in the day, thanks !!

I'll raise you a thumbs up to the Home and red Away kit. Lose the wishywashy sky bluish in the black top and replace it with white and I'll even go with the black.

Speaking for myself, it's not so much where it comes from but the quantums involved and how that effects competition.

Kilmarnock confirm Rangers' ticket allocation will be slashed to one stand
buster. replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
He is ambitious and wants to capitalise on the upturn in the clubs fortunes by growing the home support and the reduction from 8K to 4K is within the SPFL rules. Kilmarnock do historically have a decent crowd base that he's trying to attract back, whether they or the new generations buy ST's we'll soon see. The last couple of seasons have seen a relatively significant upturn in their home support and if you are ambitious then you have to move things whilst the relative good times roll. The obvious problem arises further down the line when the good times stop but what is Bowie going to do parallel to this to try and make them last ? It's their prerogative and it's their financial risk. IMO the club(s) shouldn't threaten to not take any tickets in the future. Leave it up to the paying customers whether they want to buy them, surely it's their shout. -
VAR appears to be an expensive interruption to play that doesn't always provide what it says on the tin.

Anyone else have a nibble back then ? They are now 9/2 Barcelona 6/4 Liverpool 5/2 Ajax & Spurs 9/2

Very refreshing to see it. We're seeing Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and now Juventus all losing their edge. It only needs Messi to retire and Barcelona will be the same. Hopefully have some different winners for a couple of years.

Zidane was a variation on the Del Bosque type of appointment at Real Madrid, possibly the most complicated political egosphere in the galaxy. Del Bosque gave the likes of Hierro and Raul space to have their substantial say and generally didn't rock the boat. The logic being that if you have the better players and you keep them sweet, you'll do well. He did so much better than many who tried to lay down their own law, even if they may have been better tacticans or whatever. Zidane commands respect for what he has done in the game but I think he was smart enough to also follow some of Del Bosque's previous habits. Man. Utd could conceivably stay in City's shadow for a fair old time. Some of the issues facing United are not disimilar to the general situation in front of us. Difficult job for whoever takes it on.
-
Agree with most of that but not that Zidane would sort it. Perhaps there is a bit of natural order in it,... so many years of plenty were always likely to be followed by a fair bit of famine.

The prospective Shinnie to Derby pre-contract has stalled due to the club operating under a “soft transfer embargo” while the English Football League (EFL) look into the club’s financial dealings . Just Saying One curious aspect to Derbys interest is that you'd think Frank Lampard would know a midfielder when he sees one and you'd imagine he has given the okay for this deal. -
It's been apparent that they need to change things beyond the football operation for a number of years now #Woodward To put it bluntly, they repeatedly make a horses arse of appointing the first team manager and their recruitment has been all over the place as well. Thing is, what happened with Moyes, LVG and Mourinho was predictable. They hired Moyes because SAF told them to but they weren't convinced, didn't really back him and got rid as soon as they could. All you had to look was into LVG's history to see that his confrontational nature/style would come unstuck in England. At Real Madrid and Chelsea, Mourinho had already showed the direction his management had taken and surprise, surprise.... he did it again.

Kilmarnock confirm Rangers' ticket allocation will be slashed to one stand
buster. replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
They appear to be prioritizing their own fans wishes/experience with the hope that they can can continue the recent growth in attendance which will offset the loss in away tickets sold when the OF visit. TBF, you could compare it with us telling Celtic that they only get the corner. The main difference being that financially that wasn't really a risk and hence our board weren't going for a policy change that cut into revenue. If Kilmarnock were to grow their average by a further 1,000, it would make up lost revenue from OF games. Thing is, when results do tail off, so will their fans, as sure as night follows day. -
Kilmarnock confirm Rangers' ticket allocation will be slashed to one stand

What Bowie is saying in the latest article has developed from the initial KFC directors message of yesterday, which was..... ... A message from Kilmarnock FC Directors Billy Bowie, Cathy Jamieson and Phyllis McLeish. What has already been an unforgettable season for everyone at Killie still promises so much as we head into the final five weeks of the campaign. Guided by Steve Clarke and Alex Dyer, our squad is challenging at the top end of the Scottish Premiership with the real possibility of breaking last season’s club-record points total. As we continue our 150th Anniversary celebrations, we want to turn our final match of the season on Sunday, May 19 at home to Rangers into a celebration of all things Killie. With this in mind, we as a Board of Directors have made the decision to house Rangers FC supporters solely in the Chadwick Stand with Kilmarnock supporters in the remaining three stands.Moffat Stand season ticket holders will be able to purchase reduced rate tickets for the Moffat Stand, priced Adult £15, Concession (Over 65s, U21s and Students) £10 and U16 £5. Our KCST team will have increased community games and activities on offer in our Family Fan Zone behind the Moffat Stand so get along early and join in the fun.Kilmarnock supporters can buy a ticket for the Frank Beattie, East Stand or Moffat Stand priced Adults £27, Concession (U21, 65+ and Students) £19, U16s £10.This is an all ticket match and home tickets must be purchased in person from The Killie Shop at Rugby Park. All away ticket enquiries should be directed to Rangers FC.Billy Bowie said: “Kilmarnock FC is a family club and we want to make sure Rugby Park is an enjoyable and safe environment for people to enjoy watching football. As promised, we have worked with and listened to feedback from our leading supporters’ groups in a real effort to encourage and inspire the next generation of Killie fans. “After the game we’re encouraging all Killie fans to stay in the stadium and watch one of the most memorable Killie teams in recent memory complete their traditional lap of honour complete with a few words from our manager Steve Clarke.” A date for the start of home tickets sales will be announced in due course. http://www.kilmarnockfc.co.uk/Article?id=8546 ------------------------------------ The development appears to be that Bowie/KFC declare an intention to make it ongoing policy in matches against the OF. It would still be their prerogative but financially it would be akin to putting a large bet on a rank outsider which if in the unlikely scenario you were to win, all you'd do is stand still. Perhaps KFC were looking to see how things went, firstly with ticket sales for the last game of the season and then on the day itself before they made any further decisions but our reply has made him come out with his thoughts now, perhaps not. Optimism on their part to think they can grow and maintain their attendances to a level to make up for 4,000 tickets x 4/3/2 in a season given that Clarke appears to be central to on-field performance and he won't be there forever. Very Scottish fitbaw -
