  1. If interesting means that she includes decent looking burdz, porno editing skills with the ice cream licks (knows her audience) and content linked to Rangers, then perhaps
  2. The manager has to deal with reality, he doesn't post on a Rangers forum where perception varies along with buts and what if's. In the aftermath of the AM sending off in Ufa, I posted at the very end of the summer transfer window that SG had a decision to make regards Morelos. His decision was to back the player and any whispers of late August bids came to nought. Over the season, despite mounting frustration, SG continued to back his player but I think the Parkhead sending off was one too many for the manager and we've reached a grey zone point where the unconditional backing has been removed. It's now a matter of sort it out or you are of little use. Beyond Morelos, the sending off of McGregor hasn't helped the Colombian. It put's more pressure on SG to get a grip on the disciplinnary issue as a whole. No-one knows what'll happen next season if Alfredo stays but I reckon it's safe to say he'll have more competition for a starting place than the first half of this season and if he doesn't sort out his discipline, he'll probably be on the bench more than he has been accustomed to. On the other hand, if he were to sort it out, he may score 40 goals. The uncertainty would have me accepting a relatively decent bid this summer but I'm a messageboard poster and not SG.
  3. Forget the gutter press, this is now about the working relationship between the manager and player. The manager won't keep putting up with Morelos if he keeps doing stupid things that damage the team.
  4. Neoliberalism at work in football. Push more and more money and subsequent power upwards and don't have a second thought at looking to leave the rest behind in relative squalor. The problem for those planning this is that the rest still hold some decent cards, if they were prepared to use them.
  5. We won't get close to 20M for Morelos this summer. By extending his contract, we put ourselves in a better negotiating position and opened up more the possibility of keeping him for next season. However, since then, the discipline issue has become more acute and I think the manager is one or two similar type sendings off from saying 'no more'. IMO it's now best for all concerned that he moves as early as possible this summer and unfortunately that would probably cost us somewhat re. transfer fee..... But if he stays and things go sour, it could end up costing us more. Some will say it could go the other way and it's possible but I don't think Scotland (certain things about it) and Alfredo are suited.
  6. Brighton 0-3 Man City Burnley 0-1 Arsenal Crystal Palace 2-1 Bournemouth Fulham 2-1 Newcastle Leicester 2-1 Chelsea Liverpool 2-1 Wolves Man Utd 2-0 Cardiff Southampton 1-0 Huddersfield Tottenham 1-1 Everton Watford 2-1 West Ham
  7. Debatable if Hately deserves to be in that video in the first place but his jacket certainly shouldn't
  8. That goal in Barcelona or the header at Easter Road in 1975... If you were around and aware at the time and I know quite a few on here were.............Which was more important for you ?
  9. Morelos has on occasion been the one to blame and not the officals. However, Clancy (ref this w/e) is one referee who I thought looked as though he had premeditated his game in relation to Alfredo. Specifically, when it came to booking him early on for a perceived dive in the Scottiush Cup game in Aberdeen and in the replay, not giving a penalty when Considine fouled him, amongst others. I'd agree that it's in our best interests to play Defoe....First off, he has earned the start. Second, Morelos looked off the pace last weekend and that would only increase the chance of frustration and red mist. Then you have to think what another red card would mean in relation to the value of Morelos. The last red was a turning point for many opinions on the Colombian, another and SG is almost forced to get rid and in those circumstances, I doubt the fee would reach eight figures.
  10. I agree with you Bill ! Ask yourself why this has developed in the way it has and what it relates to what has happened within the business culture, over the same time period.
  11. Some would say that it's silly that European competitions include teams from outwith Europe. That wouldn't include the money men from UEFA. Sport and real competition are way down the list of priorities and that is behind why decisions that are being made threaten to cut off the potential for us (Rangers) to make decent European revenue that would allow us to remain competitive at a reasonable level.
  12. The bet stays live !!
  13. A wee add-on to the above post that didn't occur to me the other day. It didn't occur because of the lack of coverage or in other words, the 'ignore tactic' tends to work. It was the media reaction to what Derek McInnes said about sectarian chanting aimed towards him from the Celtic support. Reaction may not be a good choice of word, granted. Mr.BioMechanic has been big on Strict Liability on certain occasions Sportsound made it their main mission after what Steve Clarke said but as 26th pointed out very recently, they aren't so keen to cover it now. But thinking of PQ (specifically Sportsound Monday programme) and Editorial Consistency, the almost blanket coverage to ZILCH, takes some front !
  14. Compo, what was the bet ?
  15. It's good because I think he'll be badly missed by Aberdeen. There was a case for him but on reflection, I'd prefer we go with what we already have, Greg Docherty.
  16. 5.40am UK and nearly 10 million views of that utube highlights video yells a story. Well done to Klopp and his players. Perhaps the night when English club football took over from what has been a club scene dominated by Spanish clubs.
  17. This weekend requires players who are committed to the cause.
  18. I think we can take it as a given that Barasic has got the ok from SG&Co for next season. Being on the bench and this article are both aimed to say exactly that. We really need to get ability that is already within the squad and being paid for out there on the pitch maximising performance levels. A fit and committed Barasic would offer a great deal and if Tav was to leave, the Croat has the tools to make up some of the lost creativity from the flanks.
  19. No idea about Mexer, the player but I hope we are going on more than his recent performance against PSG and the fact he is on a Bosman. If deal happens, a posiitive would be the timely nature of business in preperation for next season.
  20. It was a bad error but we had most of the game to repair the damage. The real error that evening IMO was from the manager, his choice of the starting XI and lack of timely substitute #Davis
  21. Yes and that is what is immediately in front of us but the real focus for the management team/recruitment is getting the squad sorted for next season as early as possible. The first OF of next season will be HUGE but then I guess you could say that every time 3 points are on offer, it'll be huge. I reckon in points totals, that both OF teams will get further away from the provincial clubs and it'll become more like the beginning of the century.
  22. Now there is value for you. Worth a score I'd say ! Had it been the Spurs of a month or so ago,... a 3 figure sum would be merited.
  23. It's important but not huge IMO. Huge will be the first of next season and that'll be at Ibrox. Looking forward A plus point is that we know what we are doing or have to do whilst overby, there may be more of a transition. I reckon that they'll throw more money at it than accustomed but that doesn't always provide guarantees, especially in the short-term. Anyway, it'll mean a summer full of transfer rumours (some sexy) and then the realism of the squad list at the end of August. Should be fun.........
  24. Can't argue with much you post there. Wrt to challenging for the title next season. We can only directly influence what we do, budgets, getting value for money, our own tactics etc., but a lot will end up depending on what happens on the other side of the City. We are approaching a big year or two, with a lot at stake. Whilst, I'm sure we will do as much as we can to get the title back. I also reckon that they'll be pulling out the stops to continue the way they have been going and unfortunately, the biscuit tin is full. I'd be expecting some relatively big names to be coming to both sides of Glasgow to play football during this time.
