    maybe the brentford fan could answer but do they have a track record of developing young talent? as it stands Macleod has managed to look pretty talented at times - despite what we would all agree was shocking management in a rank team. he's at the stage now where he needs coached properly in a decent team - if that happens the 1M be a steal if they think he's the finished article he may well fail.

    it may take years but i believe they have a case and more importantly a cost to answer.

    I loved Durrant probably the first player i was just in awe of everyone goes on about laudrup but Durrant was on a par with him. 86/87/88 until he was cut down - one of main the reasons i fell in love with Rangers. That and the fans - the 86 league Cup final - that is the sort of benchmark i can't stop hoping we return to.
