On the pitch , the season before we entered the championship , the performances were diabolical even in games that we won. And as warburton himself points out mistakes will be made as to player recruitment you'd hope to get the majority right mccoist manged to get virtually every signing wrong, his hit rate was atrocious.

who ever described le tissier as a one trick pony? and now pirlo?!! good God.

Championship Fixtures published Friday at 12.05pm...

No one who had been paying attention for mccoist's previous 3 seasons in charge was excited. -
where would people play him? those that want him signed? IMO he's a slow one trick pony and that trick was pretty quickly snuffed out. I personally want players with strength and pace signed,
-
If warburton and weir sign him we'll just have to trust that they think they can improve him A 23 year old left footed CB with quite a lot of experience available on a free might be few and far between right now. I don't think he's dominant or "hard" enough but he may well develop with the right coaching.

Was dreading pre season but think it will shoot past now Totally buzzing about how this develops Loved his statement about "if the long ball works for you , good luck to you but we want to get it down and play football".

New management team: Mark Warburton and David Weir

The fact warburton had brentford anywhere near the play off final is testament to his abilities as a manager. the fact his players all want to play for him, the attacking style of play and the development of players under his tutelage all bodes well for us should he get the job. -

These are ball park figures is giving out we'll have to wait and see what the manager says. But if it was only 7 then you do the spine of the team GK 2 CB 2 CM 2 strikers/ 1 striker/one winger, creative type Remember there are decent youth prospects who can be assessed by a new man also. -

its based on evidence the football was still terrible and the same stupid tactical decisions were made his record was worse than mccoist's, what does that tell anyone? he was terrible. -

I the Monster Munch brigade will love this guy. -
The Keystone to the way forward is the new manager, get that wrong and the whole thing will unravel. I'd rather they took their time and got that spot on
-
Drivel. Why look at evidence when we can have blind faith. He got an extended trial to see if he could do things differently , get better results and he failed. Miserably.

I suppose another attraction of this guy is the fact he started in Youth football and has slowly built a reputation for developing players. the club desperately needs an outside influence to cleanse years of lazy, turgid stagnation that has been allowed to build up. -
the results speak for themselves really.

This might work better in the long run

Is kelly out of contract? Younger players like galacher, hardie etc could all play more of a part under better management IMO. -
