  1. did they specify 48 hours from when?
  2. The Celtic defence in on it too?
  3. Steve McLaren's going to Newcastle. Warburton would be an obvious choice to replace him at Derby.
  4. Moving to a smaller squad?
  5. Pre-injury Mols was one of the most exciting players for us I can remember. He was good enough that I think we'd have struggled to keep out of the hands of Barca or some such. One of my favourite Archie MacPhersonisms: 'Mols turns like he's drilling for oil'.
  6. I'm sure it was but I think it still needed the club that had been 'sinned against' to lodge a complaint. There was a lot of 'they wouldn't dare would they?' comments at the time.
  7. I don't think was an automatic referral so it needed a formal complaint from them
  8. Though I suppose I should expect this sort of thing from them, this is genuinely fucking mental. It should surely result in a disrepute charge for Lawell, though I'll not be holding my breath. Is it too late to get Darren O'Dea hauled up for his handball on the line against us? On the plus side, without us around, everyone else is now beginning to realise what a bunch of fucking fruitloops they are.
  9. Glass half full: It's very gratifying to see that there seems to be some genuine talent there and that they're getting a chance in the first team. You'd imagine there'd be a few more getting a chance once the out of contract players have cleared out. Glass half empty: though I hope our near death experience has changed perspectives, integrating young players takes patience and we've not, as a support, traditionally shown much of it. 'Big' teams in the UK have proven quite poor at integrating their youth players and seem to be getting worse. Us and Sporting Leprechaun have been no different. Also, every other fecking club in Europe is now banging on about youth development and it will be hard to keep our best and brightest long enough to even get them near the first team bench with the money on offer south of the border.
  10. Complete and utter fuckwits.
  11. That the squad's pretty fucking ordinary. Murdoch aside (and maybe Wallace if he's back on song), if we were offered any sort of money for pretty much any of them we'd be daft not to take it.
  12. Oh aye. He seemed a straight up kind of guy and I'm sure we were all taken by surprise when it turns out he was at it...
  13. Realistically, if sensible money is offered for Law, he'll surely be sold. For us, getting money for an, at best, mid-ranking SPL midfielder who's been horribly inconsistent and is probably one of our higher earners is going to be grabbed. He doesn't seem irreplaceable. For him, the Championship is stronger and more competitive (and more lucrative) league and has the added bonus of offering a crack at the EPL: the only chance he'll have of getting near it is if he goes to Brighton and goes up with them. And if he does, it's not going to provoke much more than a shrug from most of the support (though as a part-time Brighton fan, I'm a bit depressed at how the team's shaping up and this doesn't fill me with hope).
  14. We all want that, of course. But an awful lot of that wouldn't be up to the manager IMHO. In spite of last night, McCall may or may not be an ok appointment to work with the first team for the next year or two. But I don't expect him to be the one overhauling the club root and branch.
  15. I suppose he might have done better to stop the initial cross on the second but, to be fair to him (and Wallace) at least he was trying to get back and cover. Don't know where Zaliuskas hand MacGregor had wandered off to. Mohsni looked like a adult playing against kids at times last night which is why it's so infuriating when he makes such elementary balls ups. Boyd actually found some space a few times which is something neither Miller nor Clark had really managed. But sadly his first touch is like a landmine and he moves like an elderly asthmatic trying to carry a mattress up a flight of stairs.
  16. Perhaps hyperbole on his part but claiming they were acting in the best interests of the club is straining credulity to breaking point. They were either utterly incompetent or at it.
  17. Pretty much agree (though I remain unconvinced you can have a bad taste in your stomach). Unfortunately it's just something to add to the pile of evidence of incompetence or bent practice from the previous board .
  18. Hasn't one of them refused to move up to Glasgow from Newcastle? Intriguing as we're paying for a flat for him on top of the wages. How is this fucking legal?
  19. The problem with Mohsni is that his mistakes are a) so frequent and b) so utterly avoidable. I've never seen a player who makes the difficult look easy and the easy look impossible. incredibly frustrating: he spends most of the game looking a really accomplished player before playing like a man recovering from a serious stroke. Just can't seem to concentrate for the full 90mins.
  20. Yep. A banning from an Internet forum and company law are exactly the same.
  21. This is clearly malicious, and designed to intimidate. Sincerely hopes it's thrown out with plenty of bad publicity for SD. Despicable bastards.
  22. he hasn't ruled it out but it's hardly a 'come and get me'. Naismith is surely smart enough to know the consequences of the way he left.
  23. As noted above, he performed only sporadically. Some memorable goals but more frequent were absolute stinkers. Add to that some of his on and off-field behaviour and th only sensible conclusion is to keep him the hell away from Ibrox unless he's bought a ticket
  24. Wasn't accepted because he wasn't born a bluenose? My arse. He wasn't accepted because his entire mission on arriving at the club was to remove as much money from it as possible. I abhor violence but if he ever shows his face near Ibrox again I will join the fuqing lynch mob. His head on a spike outside the Louden would serve as a warning to others.
  25. I think some seem to have expected him to have dropped McCulloch for some youth player he's not had a chance to watch yet.
