  1. I've met Hassan. He has (or at least had) little knowledge and even less interest in football.
  2. Realistically, I would. The English EL qualifier will be either Man United, West Ham, Liverpool or Southampton. We drew with Alloa at the weekend and still haven't won the cup. You're faith is creditable. But a bit deluded.
  3. Voted for McKay though my favourite goal was Holt's versus Dundee which wasn't on the list. Judges seem to prefer a thunderbastard from distance
  4. Younger than John Eustace. And is, or at least was, a far better player. No idea what state he's in now, mind.
  5. was it not suggested at the time that the whole saga was driven from the boardrooms and that neither manager was too bothered? I'd have been happy to have him at Rangers. Talented player and you could see how he'd have fitted into the side. It's a pity and Scotland doesn't have enough talent to waste at the moment. But it wasn't the end of the world. Away to the lower reaches of the championship at some point, you'd imagine. Might he eventually end up with us? Would the support accept him if he said "I was pressured into signing for them by Hibs. I realised it was a mistake, you could see my heart was never in it. But Ibrox is where I belong and I'll give everything for the club I've always loved"?
  6. Wasn't expecting too much tonight and, for the most part, wasn't that bothered. That was until the final whistle went and I saw that Scouse twat's self-satisfied expression and I wish we'd taken it a bit seriously. Fyvie's a sleekit twat too.
  7. Bloody hell! That really was some strike from McKay
  8. This is like a pub football game on a Sunday morning when everyone's still arseholed from the night before. Somebody'll be throwing up by a corner flag before the end, mark my words.
  9. The team still pissed from Sunday night? Hope this serves to focus minds a bit ahead of the final.
  10. You'd imagine players like Jordan Thomson and Burt, if he's to have a future at the club, would feature more prominently, as well as the two from Accrington who've already been announced. Ball is clearly not going to feature at Spurs so a deal for him wouldn't be a huge surprise.
  11. Running on fumes by the end but deserved win. Nerves shot.
  12. A moral victory, regardless of the penalties.
  13. Contrast English's ordure on a page with Germinal's thoughtful piece. He mentions the Bauhaus, ferfuxake!
  14. Of course, I was being slightly facetious. I was going to finish on PAY YOUR TAXES which was a favourite from the Yahoos. But from the outside it does look awfy like they were being advised, perhaps informally. Didn't somebody say Craig Bellamy started one of these schemes on the day he arrived?
  15. It's a hell of a coincidence quite how many ex-Celtic players and directors were involved in the film scheme. It's almost as if it was a concerted effort by the club to pay players they might not have otherwise been able to afford and so could be construed as financial doping. Reckon anyone will investigate that though?
  16. He doesn't quite name names in the last line but comes close. Would be particularly funny if Petrie and Thomson found their clubs in the championship. Relegating Celtic might be wishful thinking.
  17. Chancer, imho of course. Leveraging yourself to buggery and flogging the bejesus out of a high risk tax strategy like EBTs nearly lost us our club.
  18. Can we have a moratorium on posting spurious drivel by known bigots and Rangers-haters? I understand it's as well to know what folk are saying but we really are dealing with all the usual erseholes excreting the usual, biased keech that we've all heard before.
  19. Sorry: somebody was streaming the game live on YouTube but it went when the broadcast ended. It'll be on the official YouTube later, I'm sure.
  20. Thanks to the power of YouTube, I did. He looked like he struggling to control his emotions. Great stuff
  21. Of course. But we've not been throwing away points because we're too gung ho and leave too many players up field, the way Warburton teams are su posed to come undone. We've been doing it because everyone stands with their hands on their hips watching while opponents stroll past them to tap in open goals. Agree entirely on the lack of responsibility being taken. Has playing well for a few weeks convinced them they don't need to bother? Is a couple of months of good football all they've got in them? Has the Falkirk capitulation drained all their confidence?
  22. That's almost a common cause of bans as insulting cats. The only time I've been banned was for something equally inane. Problem is that a couple of the admins are dicks (that should ensure my second ban)
  23. The frustration is the defence was looking pretty solid for the first couple of months this season. Thought the centre backs were terrific against Dundee, for instance. But they've looked dreadful ever since. I don't think it's just a lack of bodies defending: there's been goals scored where everyone's pretty much stood and watched as crosses were put in.
