City were a bit sluggish at the weekend United won with a goal that Sir Bobby would have been proud to score and a good game at the bridge between the pensioners and gunners a pleasant draw , but Ange’s charges are leading the field by a clear two points .
And my toffees lost the Derby mind you playing ten against twelve is always difficult

It has come to my attention that the Club seeks a 'Rangers' Man' to join the coaching staff.
You are a 'Rangers' Man', of a certain vintage, who has seen the best, and the worst, so perhaps the Club might consider engaging your services, with special emphasis on physical fitness.
I am sure that the matter of emolument could be quickly, and amicably, solved.
As for equipment, well, a few windcheaters, a few pairs of jodhpurs, and like no. of leather riding boots, would be necessary, to which you would add a sjambok, and two or three cattle prods, of varying length. None of this would break the bank.
What say you? Is your fedora in the ring?
I’d put them through their paces to such an extent it would bring tears to a glass eye

I'd strap yourselves in for muscle injuries and hamstrings pinging if Clements going to implement a press.
Joe Gomez recently said it was hamstring central under Klopp when he first came in at Liverpool - I doubt Clement will be as full throttle as that but we'll still see some injuries I think.
Get them fit and they’ll be up for it makes me wonder WTF kind of fitness program they’ve be doing

If I were in charge I would try to get them fit enough to press forward for the whole game some of them were huffing and puffing like the horses at Ascot I would recommend a couple of weeks at Gullane will be jolly well nice in the autumn weather.
You need someone to crack the whip Mr Clemente .

The centre half pairing looks like the start of a partnership I thought Souttar was excellent

One of the greatest Englishman to ever pull on a football shirt the driving force behind a wonderful Manchester United team as well as the England team that lifted the Jules Rimet Trophy R.IP. sir Bobby.

A wee bit above our usual display a change in approach let me see how unfit most of our lot are anyway we got the three points .

Two goals ahead so it looks like the points are in the bag Hibs are such a poor team though.

I want a frenzied shagging of every bayonet wound inflicted.
I want no limit of exploitation.
I want Irvine Welsh to feel violated.
I want six nil to the Rangers.

Back in my day this fixture used to be a feast of good football sadly both clubs are now fallen giants of football serving up mediocrity but we should get the result if only through new manager syndrome .
Rangers4/11
Hibernian 6/1
Draw 10/3 .

I think he is effectively being black-balled mate due to his Rangers connections - had interviews at a few and a better managerial career than some (despite it only being the year he was at Kelty) but that Rangers connection is tough for him to overcome.
Havent spoken to him for a bit but the passion he has for the Club, the over, respect and standards that Walter taught him, are plain to see - he loves the club - and we all know what his own standards were - so he wouldnt accept half-arsed efforts from the players. Would obviously, because I am bias, be my choice.
The type needed to kick some arses

So Clement's first public press conformance is gonna have some / certain people raging! Every player gets a clean slate, he will work with what he has squad / player wise and Tav remains captain.
Good luck Phillipe 😀
He’s already made his first mistake by giving them a clean bill of health even the village idiot could tell you what we have in stock isn’t working so to carry on as was is just plain dumb we all know who’s not good enough and they should be shipped out at the next transfer window his loyalty will see him down the road with the previous managers

I don’t see the point in these friendly “learning” games if the team we put out bears no resemblance to what would be our best 11. Also players/managers/clubs complain about too many games and yet we play France & England.
Didn’t see the point in playing the way the team was setup with one striker up front and five at the back should be experimenting with two strikers getting the ball to them from all directions it will be difficult to watch them if they play like that in Germany

So if he was to go this is the day and age of funny money transfers and if our board were to accept a penny short of £15 million then they should be lined up and shot through the head by a ball of their own shit
