I don't think Maribor were a poor side but we don't have a say who we play in cup competition and we did  the job were others failed , well done Rangers. 

Let's forget about the BBC and Rangers for a moment I would think there are many football/sports fans out there who would like to listen to the best football match being played that day/evening this nonsense should all have been dealt with at the start with a simple clear the air meeting .

Back in the mid sixties it was the other way round and Stein dealt with it himself by pulling Peter Thompson into his office after a home game and giving him a good rollicking the next week the commentators were telling us how good they were ,they had got the message don't mess with me or my club if only we had someone of that stature these days .

This is the best team we have played so far and despite a two goal advantage we are in for a torrid ninety minutes , the players will have to stand resolute in defence and be ready to hit on the break  we deserve some luck let's hope we March on .

In my day the only statistic that counted was goals  as long as you scored one more than the other lot that would do fine .

I will say this a good pal of mine ran one of the better youth teams back in the 70/80s and I heard horrific stories from youngsters who had played at a certain boys club some of these stories where also told by parents of some of these lads I don't think they were all exaggerating there is a crime that needs reexamined here because some of the culprits are still out there .

No action to be taken 

Our managers stupid stumble against Chelsea  that day cost me £36,000 that day if he brings success to our club I will forgive him ?
