Liverpool, lacking tempo, were struggling to break down 10 men behind the ball, then conceded, poorly, from one counter-attack, exacerbated by terrible refereeing.

They've also got a player playing out of position at Left-back because they've got no strength in depth at Full-back.

    Sound familiar? :D

The difference? They're continuously moving and rotating positions up front and in midfield, and have quality up front. It's now 2-1 to Liverpool.

Two bits of shoddy defending cost Bournemouth a shock result

    Atmosphere was strange last night.

Very subdued at the start of the game, then we had the embarrassment of the 8th minute applause, then the fans lost patience, then they got up for it with the second Livi goal and then we chucked it.

It's difficult to criticise supporters for moaning though when the team are making so many basic errors.  Tav and Barisic walking across the pitch to take set-pieces throughout the game was also really frustrating.  We moan about time-wasting and no tempo but contribute to it ourselves.

What was the 8th minute applause for ?

  3. Stein would have put him in the reserves for a spell but were not over endowed in good players so dont cut off your noses to spite your face.

Think back about all the great players in football that just couldn't be a decent manager let alone a good one it's a long list .

  4. I seen wee Davie Wilson a few weeks ago and I dont think he's an ounce over his playing weight,  wonder if he's still registered even in his eighties he might be a better option than some of the present lads ??????????
