  1. Aye it's the same Mr Deans that stabbed a good group of men in the back when they were about to takeover Hearts when Vladimir Romanov.

I knew two of the consortium well my wife's cousins plenty of money to invest and honest money,  I wouldn't trust Dean's word on anything.

We're not competing with Chelsea and Man City. It's only Celtic we have to compete with for trophies. It's just that we're not so far. We don't need hundreds of millions of pounds. We just need to be able to close the gap and take two steps beyond. The current squad is clearly not up to the task, I really don't know if the manager is. I've none of the answers but we need a CEO who has most of them. We are clearly getting some much better people in to manage parts of the operation - we don't need more managers, we need leadership that cn solve our remaining limitations.

I know its only Celtic we have to overcome but it will still take a lot of money and it looks to me that our present board are not prepared to take that extra step.

Were now in that situation when Murray made his idiot comments about spending a tenner for every pound they spent now were in a situation were they can spend that tenner ?

Dortmund have started like it's a training match.

    Schalke much more aggressive.

However, Schalke are not following the press, so when Dortmund break through, they'll be dangerous with their front three (Brandt, Haaland and Hazard (Eden's brother) - Sancho on the bench).

    Both sides playing 3-4-3.

Might be better watching those cardboard cutouts ?

  4. Unless we get new and plentyful investment we are never going to go forward then you have to look at the coaching side are they up to the job it's been pretty poor since the Christmas break .

Where are the boy's from Achinhowie do we even give them a chance to play in the first eleven

I am guilty of posting some articles from the Record, I never click the link, I did stop for a while, however during this period of the SPFL voting fiasco these articles that were quicker than our official site so felt it was worth while at the time.

I don't intend posting any more from them.

However the way most clubs have and still treat Rangers with utter contempt I think our travelling fans feeding them the blue £££££s is far worse than posting articles from the Scottish gutter press, IMO.

Time to starve them of cash, but it won't happen.

Today's vote is really just about due process.  We will not get our inquiry as a result of this vote, and in fact I'll be surprised if we even get 20% of clubs voting for it.  The clubs know who runs Scottish football and are living in fear of consequences.  Having said this, we must go through the process before we can take it through the inevitable legal process.  That will take time unfortunately but we must do it.

There are a few interesting things that may come out of the vote however ...

    1.  At what point does it become obvious that Doncaster has to go?  If 20% of clubs vote for this, is that enough to warrant his resignation?  30%?

    2.  The noise will not go away and will only intensify regardless of the outcome, so what will the next steps be?  Will individual clubs take their own legal routes or will they band together?

    3.  Rangers must take a stand after this.  I mentioned earlier about clubs fearing the consequences of voting against Celtic, err I mean the SPFL.  There must also be consequences for them mistreating us constantly and that has to be in the form of ticket sales.  We must NOT take tickets at these clubs and the club could help this effort.

    4.  Will the SPFL immediately then seek to hand the title to Celtic?  I fully expect this to be their next move.  In fact I expect this to happen within days of the vote.  They will do it after "receiving the support from its members" and certainly before the legal process makes it difficult.  As soon as they've been handed the title I'm sure Peter will be looking for his next puppet as Neil Doncaster will have served his purpose.

I wont be  surprised if the horrors get the title immediately after today's meeting

In a GersNet post of 9 May, @Gaffer made a very serious allegation.

This allegation has been entirely unsupported by any evidence, either then or since. If anyone has any alleged evidence of wrongdoing, they must bring it forward.

The allegation was so serious and defamatory that the GersNet Prediction League’s Legal Counsel (Peter) immediately sent Gonzo, Bill and Frankie who sought a commitment from Gaffer that it would not be repeated.

This was a wholly appropriate and proportionate legal response to an entirely unfounded and damaging allegation.

That was the only respect in which Gaffer was called upon not to repeat what had been alleged and what had been threatened.

On no conceivable basis could this be considered as ‘threat’.

It is noteworthy that there is not a shred of evidence in the so-called post to support the allegation made or to justify the threat.

We need a judicial review on this matter with no stone unturned

My legal team namely the labradoodle and the cat are on standby
