It strikes me that the vaunted 'Player Trading Model' only really works when you have gettable, already identified, replacements for the asset(s) whom you wish, or need, to sell.

If you don't have this crucial part of the model in place, then you end up keeping players to pacify the manager, and the support, and risking these assets disappearing on a Bosman for free (and, of course, with no replacements in immediate view).

Is it too much to hope that we move towards this slicker, more professional,  m.o.?

Or is it all just too difficult?

It would also help if we had reserve players academy boys ready to step up young players to get five years or so from them then sell for a ride we don't seem to be any good in this department in fact crap .

Don't think anyone is blaming the manager (or previous managers). What we need is to identify the problem and resolve it urgently.

However, it shows that there are only certain players the manager can rely on to be fit for the majority of the season.

In all honesty, apart from Souttar, I think we'd  have been able to name them without the help of this "tweet".

Worth noting that 3 out of the 5 listed were signed with known injury issues and history of missing games.

To many malingerers in the dressing rooms today when the going gets tough they get going the games infested with them worse than vermin they are I sometimes think they say nice contract in the pocket that’ll do me .
