Depending on what his remit is I don't think its worst appointment the club has made. He's a former Holyrood politician and someone who has held various roles, some senior, at the BBC, he must have an intimate understanding of how both work. We've not enjoyed good relations with either of those institutions for a long time now, and whatever your views surely an improved relationship with both is beneficial for the club. I'm guessing, so there's every chance I'm wrong, but my take is Morrison has been brought in to try and create a better relationship between the club and the large public institutions that run and influence much of Scottish day-to-day life.

That won't be easy, I wish him luck as I think he'll need it.

As long as he can organise a good Christmas party and and an annual bus run to Burntisland he will be okay

City slaughtering Chelsea 3-0 with five minutes of the first half still to go.

Number three was a creation of machine like efficiency and artistry such as only City produce.

Abramovich would have sacked the manager before now

Just seen one of Leicester’s away outfits. Nothing controversial about the design but the shirts are matt white, the shorts, stockings and shirt trim are the colour of what comes out of a very sick horse.

Never mind the sartorials. Wednesday v Magpies tonight. A clash of ancient giants.

Think I backed a couple of very sick horses earlier today 🤣

Caldow got plenty until he was crippled as did Wilson. From memory McCann didn’t get another. Shearer might have but like McNeil and Mackay, who both got a few more, there was stern competition for their places. (Hamilton, McKinnon and Baxter) Up front St John and Law continued as regulars. Wee Johnny McLeod of the Hibs and Father Quinn of Motherwell, both good players, didn’t receive the call thereafter.

Motherwell had three players in the team

Pat Quinn another good footballer and another excellent passer of a ball started out with Bridgeton Waverley they played at Barrowfield park I don't know if that's the same place were the horrors trained .
