  1. That's an interesting idea. Despite that I don't want the management to pursue it. We have enough resources for players to stick to specialised positions.
  2. Craigan explaining that you should prefer winning two trophies to only winning one. Laser sharp insight. If anybody at home is as cretinous as he is then that will have been really helpful.
  3. You should have given up your season ticket. I hate to think that anybody would buy an Ibrox season ticket and end up gripped by such abject misery. It's not robbery. It was your choice.
  4. Wow! That's one of the stupidest things I have ever seen! Does Agnelli wear a bib to the dinner table? Having said that many football fans will eagerly devour this shit sandwich and beg for a second helping.
  5. A just transaction is entirely ethical. If you want to change the reward structure of football then just say so. No need to twist words.
  6. You don't need to earn money to spend it. Somebody might invest money in your business for example.
  7. The only thing that stops it is the inevitable U.E.F.A. capitulation to give them more money. Even if many European viewers ignored it the league would still be sold to external markets for bundles.
  8. I should add that the details are always briefed to distract gullible fans. Go to any football forum and see pages of inane 'debate' over pointless details. Whether a league should have 16 or 18 teams et cetera.
  9. You make one simple mistake: reading the published details. There is only one thing that you need to know about it. The big teams only suggest changes that divert more money towards themselves. This reduces competition and makes football boring. Go back and look at any change suggested by the top teams. The history of the European cup since ~1990 should make it blindingly obvious. Even the history of Scotch football since ~1998 will show you.
  10. Here is Red Nev "I am disgusted by Manchester United and Liverpool the most," "Liverpool, they pretend (with) 'You’ll Never Walk Alone' (they are) the people’s club, the fans’ club. Manchester United – 100 years, born out of workers. And they are breaking away into a league without competition, that they can’t be relegated from?" A barrier to competition you say? Wait until he learns that his beloved workers have formed trade unions!
  11. That guardian article has some real gems in it. Here is the unbearably dull Labour leader using his words. "This proposal risks shutting the door on fans for good, reducing them to mere spectators and consumers. The clubs involved in this proposal should rethink immediately. And if they don’t, they should face the consequences of their actions." Anybody want to tell him how this works?
  12. "Uefa had been due to sign off new plans for an expanded and restructured Champions League on Monday but the timing of the latest development could now put that in jeopardy." https://www.theguardian.com/football/2021/apr/18/five-english-clubs-sign-up-to-european-super-league-report-says Hmmm I wonder what is going on here. Really difficult to figure this out.
  13. This wasn't a stroll today. Celtic had some great chances and blew it. Two goals put Rangers in a position to stop chasing the game and absorb pressure. Looking forward to watching them flail around and overreact for a few months.
  14. I can recall feeling like the momentum was with Celtic before that match.
  15. Does this mean Kamara will miss out on the European championships for Finland? Either way this could prove to be a very costly ban for us.
