  1. Rangers 1 Hibernian 0 First goal scorer: Tavernier
  2. I'm communicating the futility of your request. Rather than adapt to reality you just keep sobbing. Funny, is it not?
  3. As pointed out repeatedly this just a way to get people to shut up.
  4. I was too busy to watch this yesterday. Judging by the scoreline we are now the best team in the world.
  5. In the case of Weir it is quite possible that experience as a technical director is not sufficient preparation to be managing director at Rangers. If we are being honest we will admit that he springs to mind because of his previous spells at the club and little else. In the case of Bennett he may not have any interest in committing to any more than he is doing at present.
  6. As far as I can tell that depends on the company. I know that some will apply the terms arbitrarily. I think that chief executive is a strategic role whereas managing director is about the day to day management and implementation. I say this having only ever encountered chief executives and never once a managing director. I would guess that a few here have encountered many of both so I'm happy to be corrected.
  7. What is it about Bennett, or Weir, that would make either one a good fit for the particular role of managing director?
  8. Someone made a good point about him in a previous discussion. It was that the criticism he gets often appears to assume that he is a chief executive rather than a managing director. Do we really need a more forceful managing director?
  9. Yes, knowledge of what goes on behind the scenes would help to make sense of it.
  10. This seems like a silly question to me. I can't imagine why it would be important to ask about Dutch players. Anyone? This, on the other hand, was a great question. I hope that the board keeps pushing prices up.
  11. Not even two days and already two former players up in this thread! I feel like celebrating.
  12. Fortunately he will never be near our treatment room. We can, and will, still discuss it constantly until the transfer window slams shut.
  13. Looking forward to some rumours about former players. Balogun is sure to feature heavily in the newspapers.
  14. I should have read that more carefully! That's a relief. The lack of discussion makes perfect sense now.
  15. I'm surprised that they managed it.
  16. Why so little discussion of this? Is it a typo?
  17. Aye, but what if it's just players like Ridvan and Matondo?
  18. Beale wanted Ridvan and Matondo in?! We're all doomed!
  19. So no explanation of how either one supports your argument. Ok. Got it.
  20. It is not clear why you are mentioning this at all. Importance is some way off. Do you have any reason to think that the manager is not aligned to the board? The answer is no because he has only just been appointed. You normally have zero data points to support your argument. In this case it is almost impossible for any such data point to exist. Just admit that your talking point is a product of your fevered imagination.
  21. Straight up fairy story. Why are you mentioning these things? It is completely unclear how either one supports your argument.
  22. Why not share the last time that we were in an objectively better financial position?
  23. It is as if you have never encountered a single football supporter in your entire life.
  24. Dear supporter Thank you for advising us against playing a lucrative friendly match We look forward to reading your, er, rational criticism of our inability to invest in the playing squad Kind regards Some board member
