  1. In terms of funding the board has outlined how it intends to generate revenue. Among other things it includes European football and player trading. Last time I checked Rangers had comparable revenue to Celtic. I expect our revenue to be lower but not so much that we can't compete with them on the pitch. In terms of managing without investment I think I've already said that it's a case of getting more out of existing resources. Given that there are no shortage of mistakes that we can point to it shouldn't be difficult to imagine how that would happen.
  2. Ok, well that is not a case of papering over the cracks. The team went undefeated in the league. Papering over the cracks would be scraping through to win the cups while struggling consistently in the league. I think that you mean 'tendency'.
  3. Notice that I never said anything that conflicts with any of these points. The point that I actually did make was that it's not investment that we need.
  4. Titter. Neither you did.
  5. As I have said repeatedly the cups are an irrelevance. Winning the league is what matters. Winning a couple of years ago was a success but we have not built on that. It has been followed by domestic failure. Why don't you tell me what 'cracks' you were talking about earlier on? That was the interesting part.
  6. Nope. See my response to @PoohBear above.
  7. You're implying that the only alternative to additional investment is hoping for the best. That is not the case and it should be obvious. We can make better use of existing resources. This should be a pre-requisite to investment. Additional money without improvement would be like pouring petrol onto a bonfire.
  8. We don't need investment. We need to make better use of existing resources. You talk about investment as if it does not come with a cost.
  9. It was me that said you were sobbing. You never mentioned it but you were sobbing. It's not on par with St Johnstone. We won the league which is infinitely more important than any number of domestic cups.
  10. Nothing you have said here answers the point. You assume that they will continue to make good decisions. No reason to assume that.
  11. What does this actually mean? What happens when we make a profit?
  12. Will you please wait until the medium term to repeat all of these familiar complaints?
  13. The board explains itself now and again. When discussing revenue it always describes player trading as one of a number of streams required for success. The very opposite of a silver bullet.
  14. This isn't true though. We have a bunch of high earners that finish contracts in the summer. That will free up a lot of wages.
  15. Why not give the board credit for the European success? The board brought Gerrard, backed him and persevered with him.
  16. What cracks do you mean? Why are you sobbing about the cups? Neither would make much difference to our position today.
  17. If you pretend that Celtic will never make any mistakes then it will seem that way.
  18. It's not all bad. Remember that brilliant win against Partick Thistle. Maybe later in the season Morelos will grab a hat trick against some jobbers in the league and give us another tweet about hard work and success.
  19. Rangers 1 Celtic 0 First goal scorer: Tillman
  20. Who cares? Looks like the perfect representative for them, no?
  21. I hope Tillman can play. I think that our chances of winning depend on him playing well. He has to play much better than he has so far for us to have a chance.
  22. The hall of fame is a load of rubbish. If you really must do it then less is more.
  23. Good. Now we can move on to the next entirely predictable stage. King can sell his shares to somebody that we don't like and we can post a series of futile complaints.
