Alchemist Required: Finance and a Major Overhaul by Summer 2023
ranger_syntax replied to buster.'s topic in Rangers Chat
Morelos and Kent will free up lots of salary next summer. Jack and Helander might be replaced by players that are available more often. -

As mentioned elsewhere look at the injury list. Also look at the level of replacements for Bassey and Aribo. Tillman and Ridvan are both well below that standard. Davies can't stay fit. Finally look at the manager's refusal to park the bus. -

Yes, it is all very familiar. Many of the complaints are a load of rubbish though. -

We've clearly had to settle for the second string for much of the group stage. I bet we could go back through various threads and find people praising these players, celebrating contract extensions and so on. Now that certains facts have been revealed we are told that heads must roll. -

Nobody is compelled to buy a ticket. Nobody that does buy a ticket should expect a guarantee of success or even of good football. -

Some points to remember about tonight and they apply to much of the group stage. We played with two young centre backs tonight. I rank them as 5th and 6th choice in that position. I don't believe that Sands has a future in that position and both are below par in physical stature. We also played with Davis in midfield. He obviously still has some quality but, given that he is in his late 40's now, is also far down the pecking order. We are not playing these players by design. We have taken some risks with the squad that have not worked out. We have also made some bad recruitment decisions. -

His workrate continues to be good. His decision making continues to decline. I don't mind if he struggles in the Champions League but he is now struggling in the league. -

Looking forward to beating St Johnstone at the weekend. Get back some of the happy clapping spirit from Saturday. -

I can't watch. There is a high risk that I would hear someone asking him, for the tenth time, if he prefers playing left or centre. -
Very nice to see Tillman turning things around against all odds.

What do our players think about when actually getting into the opposition box with the ball? Maybe it is some kind of game to see how many passes we can manage. A particular favourite was in the second half where several passes were made before finding poor Fashion Jr to shoot it in the direction of the corner flag.

Not at the prices quoted anyway. About 2 million each would be tolerable.

This is why I doubt he will go to either us or them. The scouting team will have a better idea of what he is really like. To me he just looks like trouble.

Really gets the adrenaline flowing when you see Kent cut inside and then do nothing of consequence again.

We just need the entire team to learn to defend crosses.
