When did we last see crowdsurfing?

A fuss over nothing. There are loads of spare seats for people to move to.

Agreed. No need to caricature and mock someone who brought us a lot of success though.

I just find it a bit depressing to read, or listen to, Rangers fans lap up another ex player story. I also think it is rare to get good value for money when players come back. No, I never suggested any such thing either. No.
-
No kidding. We all know MacLeod and Wilson are both good players and I couldn't complain about having either of them back at the right price. Personally I hope that Warburton has a bit more imagination than many Rangers fans and the Scottish press.

A former Rangers player, would you believe it?!

Sounds good to me. He is saying a lot of the right things. Hopefully he delivers what he promises. One less excuse not to renew season tickets.

Oh dear, I'm not sure how I can disagree with someone who cites "the real world".

Kilmarnock make Kris Boyd their top summer signing target
ranger_syntax replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Someone told me about this on Sunday but thought it would be a coaching role. If Boyd goes back to Kilmarnock and succeeds again then that should be embarrassing, and damning, for our recent management. -
Your repeated contributions help to ensure that this topic remains near the top of Rangers Chat.

Not sure I understand. Would you like them to condone not reacting to provocation while not condemning someone for reacting to provocation?

I can't imagine anything funnier or less likely.

McCall did not have a lot to work with and never had a chance to sign any players so he hasn't had much of an opportunity to show what he can do. He did manage to improve the team though. He tells us that his strengths include improving people and getting the best out of them. Did that happen for any of our players individually? I thought the improvement was to the team rather than to individuals. He had two opportunities to achieve something relevant: finish second to improve our playoff chances and, ultimately, win promotion. Despite improving the team he didn't achieve either of these things. On that basis I don't think that he is good enough for the job. If McCall manages to get the job then I think that this means there is nobody better available. We will probably face another tough season but I wouldn't rule out winning this division. What we will probably not get is a radical departure from the mistakes of the recent past and that is what we really need. So, yes, thanks but no thanks.

I think he has even said words to that effect on here before. But, anyway, regarding rumours from elsewhere about McLeish: There is only one thing that is worse than the endless speculation that former players/managers will be returning; the thought of it actually happening. We need to look forward, not back

It could create problems if Motherwell fans buy tickets in the home end and then sell them to some of us. Motherwell acknowledge this in the statement at the end. If adequate tickets are sold for both sides then there will be little demand for tickets in the wrong end and, more importantly, no supply of such tickets. Another potential problem created by Motherwell.
-
We are justified because we will sell the tickets. If Motherwell can do the same then there is no problem. I will be surprised if Motherwell do sell the extra tickets. Fir Park has a capacity of 13,677 and Motherwell have an average attendance of about 4,500. To fill the stadium Motherwell will need to attract an additional 7,500. This will need to be done at short notice and with the additional complication of making fans purchase tickets through a season ticket holder or a Well Society member. I think that this will be difficult. The match will also be televised. Time will tell but if there is a half empty stand up on screen again then it should be a clear sign to all that the SPFL is a shambles.
