  1. It's pretty funny to notice that Craig Brown equates "a disadvantage" with "can't work to that".
  2. Can anybody make sense of this?
  3. How much money does the government give to Scottish football? I hope it is not a lot.
  4. Possible, but I wouldn't bet on it. Why do you think they are doing so poorly at present?
  5. Perhaps match programmes. Each page could be used in the same way as a card.
  6. Has this ever happened?
  7. I agree with some of what TannochsideBear is saying. He misses plenty of chances and make quite a few bad decisions. I think he will be with us for some time.
  8. That's a good point. Why are we so eager to post stuff like this?
  9. Not a fan then?
  10. I don't pay too much attention to English football but I've noticed Chelsea's recent poor form. After this loss Chelsea are now 3 points above the relegation zone. The only recent win in the Premier League is against Aston Villa. Why is this happening to them? Also, why has Mourinho not been sacked?
  11. Surely a greater crime than anything he might have said to McClean.
  12. Could have had an extra £100k for winning our league last year. Any place in the top league would guarantee, at least, twice as much prize money. Did Scottish football do that to us?
  13. That would be a pretty bad idea. Prize money should be in proportion to sporting merit. After scanning the numbers it looks like that is the case here. Assembling data like this should probably not make you reflect on how the prize money has been distributed. Instead think about how badly Rangers have been run, and managed, over the years.
  14. Can you post the source too?
  15. I'll never attempt to troll again. I can't compete with some of the posts on this thread.
  16. Almost all who I have noticed commenting on this topic think that such a move is entirely positive. I think it is a trade off. Consolidating supporter groups is not necessary but it is preferable in some ways. There are obvious cost savings to be made by, for example, replacing the RST and RF with one group. There is a less obvious down side which is that supporters have less choice. If you decide you don't like how it is run, for whatever reason, then you have fewer alternatives.
  17. Which Premier League manager will be next for the sack?
  18. Never been sure why anybody in the West of Scotland listens to it Neither can string a sentence together yet the BBC pays them to do just that. Glad I don't pay a penny towards them. As others have mentioned these people should look no further than themselves when wondering why Scottish football is not great.
  19. This is it in a nutshell. The Livingston match was frustrating to watch. Livingston's bravehearts fouled our players all over the pitch from the start. It was clearly a tactic to frustrate our players and supporters. In addition the referee was completely inadequate. He didn't punish them and at one point in the second half it looked like he would completely lose control of the match. I realised that this frustration was the same as that experienced when watching a goalkeeper waste time during the first half while the score is still 0-0. The worst thing about it was that it replaced the football with something tedious. I didn't pay to watch some journeyman sauntering along his six yard box to take a goal kick. I didn't pay to watch Livingston's bravehearts break up play with fouls or break legs. Could it be that many of the fans who stay at home feel the same?
  20. What do you think I'm responding to?
  21. So have succeeded with a better, worse or similar squad?
  22. Well, journalist is hardly an esteemed profession now, is it?
  23. Any idea how the Northern Ireland team compares?
