As long as it is not Annan. Not sure if anything has changed but Annan's ground was the worst ground that I've ever been to. -
Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse...

Yes, sing whatever songs that you like but people need to realise that there is a cost that goes with it. Nobody will ever lift a finger to help us if we don't move on. No one likes us, we don't care . . . ? -

Pretty depressing stuff. Do we have to play them home and away? -
Annie Millers to close for good this weekend.

As I understand it the pub was expected to close at the end of the season but the closing date has yet to be set. That's just based on what I hear. What is certain is that it was open at the weekend and it is still open today. I'll be sad to see it close when the time comes. -

The Summer Transfer Rumour Round-up Thread

I wouldn't expect this. Does anyone have a link to it? -
Funny, infinitely greater punishment than I would expect to be dished out. I do hope that the two scholars mentioned wouldn't just make that up to get the dim witted to phone in or listen . . .

I agree with much of what you say but I don't think it implies that opposing fans should be banned. If the club already has confidence in the security arrangements at Ibrox then it can protect employees without banning opposition fans. In the context of a matchday taking action could be insisting on increased security segregating opposing fans or at the touch line. Elsewhere it has to be a reasoned criticism of media comment and the actions, or inactions, of football authorities. I think we are starting to see that. We also need to remember that we will have to work with other clubs in future. The board recognises this last point. If think banning opposing fans would be more about short term satisfaction than dealing with the real problem.
-
It would be a very silly place to start. How often have we had away fans invading the pitch, at Ibrox, like the Hibernian fans did? The point is, I think, that the way we are treated by media comment and the football authorities has to change. That's not going to happen if we follow your suggestion. Besides the match day experience is definitely much better with the antagonism of away supporters.

Hopefully we can win something more significant soon and find out. Pointless speculation will end then.

Waiting for the bit where you explain why you mentioned the terrorism act . . .

It's not just a financial penalty. It's a big inconvenience to supporters. -

I think the punishment should fit the crime. A sporting penalty would be wrong. Closed door matches makes much more sense. -
The Hibernian fans would have left.
-
Not sure about that. A significant number of closed door matches at Easter Road next season would probably be appropriate.
-
I'm not sure what the justification could be for running onto the pitch. In terms of the entirely predictable events to follow you would be pretty dim witted to run on to the pitch to confront the Hibernian fans.
-
At Motherwell, and today, I got out as quickly as possible when I noticed fans running onto the pitch. I can be quite difficult though. Lots of Rangers supporters like to stop on the stairs and watch. Not sure why people want to do that.

That was not good enough. Hibernian deserved their victory. Tavernier was particularly poor defensively but did make a decent contribution in attack. I've thought for a while that Warburton must be looking for an alternative at right back.
