  1. Anybody care to paste the contents in here?
  2. The sooner Matt Gilks leaves the sooner we can speculate about signing him again . . .
  3. A fine publication indeed. I have no doubt that a well read audience, such as you will find in here, will be very familiar with it.
  4. As I think I said last time; we need better players that this to match our ambitions. Might be good value, might be good guys to have in the squad but everyone knows we need better than this.
  5. Doubt this would cause any arguments.
  6. I'm glad we are all agreed that Windass was not playing wingback. All I was trying to say was that Tavernier needs replaced and that Hodson wasn't good enough to do it. No idea why anyone thought we had to talk about all that other stuff.
  7. Windass at wingback?
  8. Windass at wingback?
  9. Windass at wingback?
  10. I think there is a reason that he can't keep Tavernier out of the team. I guess Warburton thinks that Hodson's attacking play creates a different problem for the team. I think we'll need to bring someone from outside rather than promote a squad player.
  11. Sure, but as I said, I think right back and midfielder are the priority. Tavernier is proving to be far too much of a weak link. In midfield we are missing three players through sacking and long term injury. We've reached the point where Tavernier, not a midfielder, is getting played in midfield. Even Halliday, ostensibly a midfielder, looks below the required standard. Given that I can't think of a time when we were short of players for the front line then I would not prioritise a new striker.
  12. I wonder how this compares to the reaction when Lafferty dived against Aberdeen?
  13. I wouldn't dream of expressing an opinion. Not everybody got the chance to see him play . . .
  14. I don't think striker is the priority. We have loads of them. We need a right back and someone to fill the gap left in midfield.
  15. The marking for both opposition goals was pathetic. Improving the defence must be a priority.
  16. I feel like this has been discussed before. We already spend quite a bit more than Aberdeen yet we are only two points ahead of them. I think that most of the problem lies elsewhere.
  17. People don't deserve gratitude, or praise, for respecting a minute silence.
  18. Perhaps but I think he has earned the right to try again with some signings in January. The board will probably let him try again in the summer too.
  19. Yet Tavernier, who is terrible, is still first pick. We need a right back who can keep Tavernier out of the team.
  20. I suppose that depends if any England players would keep them out of the team.
  21. The best team won. We had lots of chances to win or draw but we didn't take them. We also gifted them loads of opportunities. Some of our passing at the back is laughable. The manager now has to focus on getting a couple of players in. Right back must be the priority. After that he can have another go getting a midfielder.
  22. This is the answer. If he would get picked in a 'world eleven' then he is 'world class'. Appealing to favourite players from the past might be fun but is a waste of time when trying to answer the original question.
  23. It's never really going to be a success unless we win. Given our form earlier in the season then we should be happy enough with second. It looked like we would be lucky to finish 4th for a while. Prior to the season a few in here argued for accepting a top 6 finish.
  24. Perhaps something else is hampering MW's ability to work out how to win away games . . .
  25. Oh, it is being circulated . . . endlessly.
