Ongoing new manager discussion and speculation

I doubt it. Honest and reliable answers are more likely to follow from actual accountability, no? -

Groan . . . where did this total non-sequitur appear from ? -

I agree with this part. He is all over the place and it leaves Morelos isolated. Even when he stays in the centre forward position he is a problem. That forces Morelos to go out wide to do some work. When the ball eventually comes into the box a tightly marked Kenny Miller is the only possible target. -

Niko Kranjčar is actually less effective than Josh Windass. There is a reason he rarely features. The obvious change would be Herrera in for Miller. There is also a question about the central defence. -

Didn't Hardie and Herrera come on at the same time? -

Was Alves injured? He was not even on the bench today. -

Really poor. I didn't think it would get worse than the Kilmarnock match. We just lost it completely after 30 minutes and we should have been winning by then. Murty's chance to manage the team has just evaporated. Windass continues to look good one minute and terrible the next. I think that Miller makes others around him play worse and I would much prefer to see Herrera play. Not much point in agonising over the team selection though. We need a manager first. -

It would make little sense. He needs money to succeed. -
Yes, this was my first thought. What about aspects of play that are not measured.

Anybody familiar with this twitter account? https://twitter.com/TheSPFLRadar I've noticed it a few times now but never really looked in any detail. I saw this post that surprised me though. His team of the season so far includes Tavernier, Candeias and Morelos. I was really surprised to see Tavernier included. I'm always criticising him. What do you all think? Is his analysis any good or just a load of rubbish?

You may well be right about McArthur but it doesn't have to apply to everyone. It appears that Dorrans, for example, had an interest in bringing his family to Scotland. I've yet to see any similar reports about McArthur. Has anybody else? -
Perhaps a good time to return to this post on The Rangers Observer. https://www.rangersobserver.com/news/2017/11/5/rangers-in-no-rush-on-new-boss

Scotland call ups a 'laughing stock', says Kris Boyd
ranger_syntax replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
I'm totally indifferent to the Scotland team. But if some Scotland fans act like this then I hope we have as many Rangers players as possible playing for Scotland. Imagine how awful those fans will feel cheering for our players. Lets not forget each one will be paying about £30 for the pleasure. It couldn't happen to a nicer bunch. -
Titter, sure that's what you meant Dermot?

On a more serious note; what would we discuss in here if we ignored clickbait crap?

Rangers v Thistle - The Never Ending Journey

Nice easy three points. Good to see goals from some players I didn't expect to score. Sadly Kranjčar was rubbish again. -
I think that we will be more likely to maximise revenue if we do not buy any local pubs. The car park is an interesting question though. Could it be used for something like a park and ride during the week? Or would we be better off if we could sell it to a property developer? The last option might upset some supporters.
