Did anybody else think he looked slow today?

https://rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/alfredo-morelos-signs-new-contract/ This will run until 2021 apparently.

I think we should be winning this match. The most important argument against, as mentioned earlier, is the fact that our opponents can play for a draw.

It's not illegal to stop paying the licence fee.

I wish people would stop paying the licence fee and tell the BBC why.

If Morelos wants such a move then I think he needs to score about another 10 - 12 goals in the league for a start. -

I think it is clear from last night that Cummings is not going to be a replacement for Morelos. He's not as strong as Morelos and looks like he will have to play as one of two up front whereas Morelos can easily play up front alone. -

Good performance throughout the whole team. I think that we will continue to improve under Murty and as key players come back from injury. Spare a thought for Murty though. I saw him casting an envious glance at McInnes near the end. I think Murty realises that all he has is 9 points from 9 against Aberdeen whereas McInnes has a great relationship with his boss. -

Was it not on Rangers TV? -
In line with the comments I've made previously. I'm thinking about more competition and fewer advantages for big clubs.

I like the look of this line up. The only questions I have are about Goss and Holt. But I've yet to see Goss play. -
The SPFL could redistribute cash any time it wanted to.

The same point applies to the German league. Would it be better without youth teams in the lower leagues?
-
I'm not really interested in any 'greater good'. My argument is totally self interested. I want Scottish football to be competitive and, dare I say it, interesting. I do pay to watch it. Both clubs already have massive advantages over the competition. How many more do we need?
-
Yes, and this is why I don't want it to happen. Improving youth development is a means to an end. I think that end is to improve Scottish football. There are lots of ways to improve youth development but this particular one will also damage Scottish football. It makes no sense to me. Youth development should be improved but not at any cost.
-
Depends how you measure the success. Spanish football might be more competitive if the big teams didn't have this advantage.
-
I watched this yesterday. Not a great game but an exciting finish. I don't think we are missing out on anything with Naismith.

It gives young players one less reason to sign for smaller teams. It gives big clubs yet another advantage, over small clubs, when it comes to developing young players. It also makes a mockery of the competition. The each division should be fought out by teams that are fighting for promotion/relegation. I'm sure there are more reasons too. The worst of which will probably only be made apparent if this happens.

I don't think it is fair for big teams to field youth teams in the lower leagues. The SPFL teams would be mugs to approve this.
