  1. Most importantly Scotland matches and cup finals must not go to Parkhead.
  2. Please, please, please take this rubbish elsewhere. I beg you.
  3. I find this thread to be offensive.
  4. I don't really care about fining him. It gives us a bit of an insight into his mentality though.
  5. That was better but I'm not sure how much. Miller played better than usual. The crowd was behind him but that might have been different if he had not scored two. Windass was still rubbish but it is good to see him get a goal. Maybe this will give him the confidence to start playing better. Having that entire end at Murrayfield was great.
  6. Do you ever chat to people at the match about this sort of rubbish? If so please tell us about how you get on.
  7. Difficult to say. I think that you need to know players personally to decide that. I would have been happy enough with Miller in the past. Miller might be a divisive choice given his differences with the previous manager.
  8. In some kind of future dystopia, yes.
  9. We have tried that once before. I'm in no hurry to try it again. Let McCann do more to prove himself elsewhere.
  10. You'll be upset when Miller gets it.
  11. I think a new manager needs to get him under control. Getting rid of him would be a complete over-reaction.
  12. The only players that I can imagine leaving, before the transfer window, are ones that we have on loan. So that would be Dalcio, John or Nemane. I don't really see it happening with John. It doesn't matter if it happens with the other two.
  13. It's all about trying to get a job for a mate. Why does anybody read what either one prints?
  14. The manager got sacked because despite being granted a significant budget he couldn't beat Kilmarnock at home. There is nothing unrealistic about planning to beat Kilmarnock at home after spending loads of money.
  15. Surely not between now and January though.
  16. Please understand that I am not trying to goad anybody. Least of all a respected forum admin.
  17. I've given up on Dodoo. Looked clueless whenever he started for us. I wouldn't be surprised if he was back at some point but I don't see him coming back immediately.
  18. Yes, I think that it might be a good idea to bring Halliday back. We need a better alternative on the left. I'm not sure if Halliday would do much better but Windass might benefit from some competition.
  19. Any new manager will need to wait until January to bring new players in. We have 6 players out on loan and some who were out of favour. Could we see either Dodoo, Forrester, O'Halloran or Halliday brought back from loan? Will we see Miller return to the first team? I don't think any of these players will be particularly helpful over the next two months. Some might damage the team spirit by returning. Recent appearances from Nemane and Barjonas suggest we need more options though.
  20. https://mobile.twitter.com/XXIIISport/status/923297874728779777 Will an appeal succeed?
  21. Well, it depends what is said I suppose. We will find out soon enough why he was really sent off. The BBC is reporting it as violent conduct.
  22. This is why I love forums. 1. Start a thread for the explicit purpose of discussing the manager's prospects. 2. Give the thread an unambiguous name. 3. Explain what people should discuss in your original post. 4. ??? 5. Read a series of posts about the referee.
  23. I thought he must have said something in earshot of the fourth official. He was standing talking to Tavernier when the referee came over. I also noticed the fourth official step onto the pitch and nod to the referee.
  24. If a turnaround was going to happen it would need a string of good results from tonight until the Aberdeen matches. We have a run of winnable games with this one looking easiest on paper. If we can't do it tonight then I'm pessimistic about our chances with the rest of the matches.
