  1. He was assistant manager at Dundee United during the 80s. He became Scotland U18 coach in 1978. So I think what you are saying is incorrect. Unless, of course, you have a source. I'm only going by wikipedia for the Scotland stuff.
  2. Smith was assistant manager at a Dundee United team that won the league and made it to the semi finals of the European cup. If I remember correctly Roma later admitted to bribing the referee to knock them out. This is a completely different league from being a youth coach. Whenever I see youth matches it looks like a bounce game. No leniency required.
  3. You suggest that the honeymoon period, for the board, should be over and criticism should follow. This, I think, implies that board members should be replaced. Perhaps so, but if one is to agitate for this then shouldn't one have replacements in mind?
  4. In general if a supporter holds a significant number of shares then I suppose it is. In particular I doubt it. (see above for my recent post on this topic)
  5. I doubt it. We can leave that aside for a moment though. Have you done any succession planning for the board?
  6. Have you done any succession planning for the board?
  7. Really soft red card. I hope Kipre misses our next match though.
  8. Take a look at what Smith was doing prior to becoming Rangers manager. Compare it to what Murty has been doing.
  9. Totally gutless. Lots of tough matches between now and the end of the season if we want to secure second place. We can't afford to keep playing like that. The only positive I can think of is that Murty acted quicker than usual to remove Goss.
  10. What is an emergency loan? Why can you do this outside of the transfer window?
  11. Much better for you to post in threads on those topics then. If you complain about it in here then you just bump the thread and keep it alive. This post does that too .
  12. Any word on the results yet?
  13. Such an interesting point about behaving one way on the internet and another way in a face to face encounter. I mean if each person who criticised the Union Bears online would turn up to a match and deliver this criticism face to face then perhaps things would be different.
  14. More good news. He has earned it.
  15. The entire support behaved impeccably. Not so much as a cross word.
  16. Good news if it happens. It's clear he is not going to make a difference here and just drains us of cash. Get him off of the wage bill as soon as possible.
  17. It is worth debating what a supporter is. I would say it is anyone who turns up to the match and supports the team. I'm not sure how mode of transport affects that.
  18. There is no need to be unkind to them but I do wish all MSPs would quit social media.
  19. Did anybody else think he looked slow today?
  20. Maybe it's time to stop thinking about the points gap with Celtic for a while. We need to bounce back, and secure second place, by dealing with the rest i.e. Kilmarnock, Hibernian and Aberdeen. Another win in the cup would be nice too of course.
  21. We never really managed to play through the middle. Particularly in the second half when everything we tried was down the flanks.
  22. The manager should have taken the initiative as soon as the red card happened. He was slow to react again and our opponents seized the initiative instead.
  23. https://rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/alfredo-morelos-signs-new-contract/ This will run until 2021 apparently.
  24. I think we should be winning this match. The most important argument against, as mentioned earlier, is the fact that our opponents can play for a draw.
