Not sure it was that good! Osijek would have walked all over us this time last year though.

Could have been a lot of goals on either side. For us the attack always seemed one pass short. Whereas our opponents forced quite a few saves from McGregor. We have achieved what I was hoping for in Europe and anything that follows is a bonus.

The attack showed the same problems as last year. Murphy, Windass and Morelos all continue to be sources of frustration. Hard to say if the defence is any good yet. It wasn't tested much and the only question mark, so far, is Goldson's passing. Some decent performances though. Middleton looks great and should hopefully displace either Murphy or Windass this season. Ejaria looks quite skillful although I can easily see him being a squad player. Flanagan looked solid and I expect him to remain first choice.

Why focus on the team 10 years ago? The counter example is any squad, over the last ten years, that is better than the current one. I would say that the squad in Walter Smith's last season was pretty good. The current squad will have it's work cut out to demonstrate that it is better than 10/11. Anyways, the headline is rubbish. It makes a big attention grabbing claim with no real justification contained in the article. Perfect to get the useful ones to circulate it.

The tweet set out to tell people about the orange order but it really tells us about Graham Spiers. Instead of using his platform to criticise the powerful he uses is to attack the powerless. The orange order is unpopular and enjoys almost no political support in Scotland. Any attack from a public figure is the equivalent of kicking a man when he is down. The fact that he body shames a dead man just hammers the point home. It couldn't be clearer what type of person he is; a bully.
