  1. I find the daily update particularly useful. No need to look at the B.B.C. or gutter press.
  2. I think I would prefer it if he went on loan to a team like Hull for the next few months.
  3. Quite enjoying my Heart and Hand daily updates.
  4. Lets see how it all works out for the poor fellow.
  5. No. The problem that concerns me is the numbers of blatant errors by referees. If you really want to do something about media coverage the best you can hope for is to discourage media partners from implying corruption or bias. It brings the game into disrepute.
  6. I thought you would, at least, attempt to argue in favour of VAR.
  7. No thanks. That would make a bad idea even worse. Even if we allowed VAR the referee should remain in charge. If VAR is implemented then whoever controls the cameras will have influence over matches. They will be able to, for example, assign a camera to follow around a particular player. You don't need much imagination to think of ways that this will make football worse in Scotland. Lets focus on simpler ways to improve refereeing. A handful of professional referees would be a much better idea.
  8. Some analysis from twitter. https://twitter.com/allybain/status/1079420244895113217 Follow this thread for a series of videos.
  9. As a wise man once said:
  10. It's not 'master troll'. There's nothing clever about it.
  11. What a load of dishonest, and incoherent, rubbish. The authors clearly know the target audience well.
  12. That is not only right but really informative too. My preference is to ignore. Couldn't help following up Ian's funny comment though. Not even sure if I consider it to be about Rangers although you, and our friends in the press, may disagree.
  13. What's wrong? Not grateful to BEARGER for sharing the bad news?
  14. Pressure? Not sure about that. Celtic, also having points in the bag, can lose and still remain top of the league.
  15. It has been changed now. A charitable interpretation is that Tom English is completely incompetent. Once again I am very happy to note that I don't give the B.B.C. a penny.
  16. Great performance by the team. Some players deserve a particular mention. Kent looked untouchable throughout the match. Think Celtic were lucky that Lustig was 'injured' because I fancied him to get sent off if he was up against Kent in the second half. Halliday was excellent. His tackle early in the game was incredible and set the tone for the match. Very happy that the few Celtic supporters in attendance were able to enjoy us singing his name! Tavernier put in a great defensive display. Thought he was excellent against Sinclair and did very well to break up some counter attacks in the second half. McCrorie and Jack also played well. I think that was McCrorie's best game since this fixture last year. Can't wait to watch this one back.
  17. Thought we would win as soon as I read Arfield and Kent were in the team.
