Perfectly good goal ruled out. Dundee will tire in the second half. -

Yeah, I was really hoping to see Barisic back in today too. -

Good to have Kent back. Hope he is back to his best. -
Barisic is the clear first choice. Prior to his injury I was baffled to see threads elsewhere wondering who our first choice left back was. Halliday is fine as a back up though. Flanagan may prove to be an acceptable back up for Tavernier one day. He is certainly not up to the required standard on the left.

Some telling comments from Gerrard there. Mentions players not following instructions and, I think, implying that Morelos was seriously at fault for the second yellow. Just watched a replay of the second yellow and I have to agree.

More importantly Kenny Miller earned himself a match ball tonight. https://spfl.co.uk/league/premiership/results/988066 Surely it is time to bring him home? cc: @Tannochsidebear -

Happy to see we are already talking about Josh Windass. We will be doing this every six months until the end of his career. -
Please tell me that you write this with the aid of google translate ...

Like Ejaria it is clear that he has skill. Also like Ejaria we need to ask how much of it leads to a goal?
-
I didn't think he was that bad. I was much more concerned with how poor our players were.
-
It just makes it worse. Kilmarnock are now top of the league.
-
I'll take the league thanks. Strange knee jerk reaction ...

I wondered if we would be better with Rossiter than Ejaria tonight. As @pete points out Ejaria does little other than slow the game down. It's great that the ball sticks to his feet but it's not proving to be much use to us. Coulibaly continued to look terrible. The ball is just bouncing off of him. Good luck to Angers if they want £3 million for him.
-
Terrible performance from just about every player. Only two showed any fight and that was Lafferty and McGregor. Aberdeen knew exactly how to play against us. Leading up to the Morelos red card I wondered if we had already went down to ten men.
-
A bit harsh here I think.

I watched this a couple of days ago. Some of the insight is encouraging. For example when he tells us that he used to find, and flatten, the biggest opponent. -
Dundee Utd being put to the sword ...
ranger_syntax replied to Bill's topic in General Football Chat
I think it was a good appointment. People need to be realistic though. There is another team that is flying in the same division so finishing top is probably expecting too much. The truth is that Dundee United should be very happy to get in to the playoffs given that they have had a managerial change during the season. -

An enjoyable match overall. Thought Hearts were very good until we scored. A shame that Arfield will miss the next match. Looks like Ejaria and Coulibaly are still struggling for form and I think both will be playing. -
Almost all modern for me. At least one of my selections may be deeply upsetting. It is a favoured eleven though. Ronald Waterreus Alan Hutton Lorenzo Amoruso Madjid Bougherra Saša Papac Gennaro Gattuso Ray Wilkins Jorg Albertz Claudio Caniggia Alfredo Morelos Peter Lovenkrands

"Unacceptable behaviour" aside, people have a right to behave more or less as they want. But yes, many people who emerge, seemingly out of nowhere, to watch European matches often stand out. I happen to sit in the rear of the main stand where I could usually catch up on my sleep. Not so on European nights when I am startled to hear long forgotten songs from the distant past performed out by some unfamiliar soloist. I don't think this is wrong, despite what emerges from the fevered imagination of the super moderator. But it is one way, among many, in which such incredible supporters stand out.

I don't belittle anybody. I don't mention the unknown personal circumstances of those who emerge, seemingly out of nowhere, to watch European matches. Neither do I mention this strange "season ticket book" you speak of. Congratulations for doing the most murderous violence upon the head of that straw man!
