I believe that Gerrard will turn it around if given time. These players, Goldson in particular, will get him the sack.

I would be astonished if he changed the team that much. The front line is probably the most realistic change. It would certainly be welcome for Hagi to spend more time in the middle.

The manager has mentioned that Morelos is someone who loves playing football. That should make it straightforward to manage him. If he struggles then you drop him. It's right to say that he has served his punishment and that he should be considered for selection. I think that he should start on the bench purely for the fact that Kamberi has looked sharper and hungrier than Morelos. Hopefully Morelos is giving 100% in training now but it will take more than a few training sessions to recover his form and fitness. Especially if you think that his problem is some extra weight.

I think that the formation would be fine if the players would pass the ball quicker. Also need to remember that Hearts were not exactly playing with a packed defence.

I don't think that Helander is really the type that I'm thinking of. I'm suggesting a player in his early thirties who would not be first choice. He wouldn't need to be a great defender either. He just needs to be a guy who we can bring in to a high pressure situation without shattering his confidence.

That is difficult when the team plays twice a week. You need to spend time in training to get it right.

I should add that without the defensive mistakes we may well have escaped with a replay. I suspect we were playing for a replay until Hearts scored. Kamara was about to come on but then Hearts scored and Hagi went on instead.

Just watched the 'highlights'. Some of the defending was absolutely criminal. Tavernier, Goldson and Edmundson at fault this time. What was Tavernier thinking when he headed the ball into a dangerous area? If he can't control where he puts it then he is better to focus on taking up a good position instead. Goldson continues to be incapable of clearing his lines. He has developed a nasty habit of kicking it straight up in the air. When he's not doing that he is passing it to a player in a dangerous position. I feel like I've said this before but he needs to get his head straight. If he can't do that, and return to form, then I think we may well be cashing in on Goldson in the summer. We may still get a nice fee for him from a team in England. Edmundson had a few shocking mistakes. He's the most junior defender in the squad and I'm inclined to be more forgiving in his case. I wonder if we should have brought in another veteran for situations like this.

Two strikers might be a good idea. Especially if it involves moving Hagi inside. What do you mean by 'enforcer'?

His transfer value is a nice side effect of a successful team. Lets get our priorities straight.

I'm not sure he is desperate to move on. I think he has become too comfortable. Either way it is time for all involved to move on. I'll take Kamberi ahead of Morelos for the rest of the season.

It won't be a clear out. I think the manager might spend the rest of the season reshaping the team around Hagi and sidelining Morelos. We will cash in on Morelos and perhaps Tavernier and Goldson too.

There is no excuse for throwing coins at matches. People who do it are not welcome. Similarly if 'PoohBear' wants to direct verbal abuse at Rangers supporters then he will find a more welcoming audience elsewhere.
