That was a long standing court case that came to an end. Did we not also pay Wallace half his expected bonus? Lights are still on and players are still being paid.

Right now it will go towards running the club. We are operating at a loss. We need the fans back. I won't deny it may be wasted, the club certainly have to show fans it has changed, so far i haven't seen any evidence of that. £50m was plucked from thin air. The club can win the SPL with a team full of free transfers but it needs the fans back in order to pay the required level of players wages. The Easdales have to go, i agree with you. They are embarrassing. Let's be honest, we know the footballing costs are well over £10m, the turnover will be lucky to top £20m this year, the stadium, staff and training ground don't cost buttons, there isn't much there to "steal" or make "disappear".

They are based on paranoid nonsense though, guesswork and panic and all they do is spread more panic and confusion among fans. It just doesn't help the situation.

I don't deny it's hypocritical casey but flapping? I don't think so. My comparisons were perfectly applicable.

What things Steve? I only mentioned 2 which i believe to be nonsense.

Ye think! And it done nothing of the sort. What have this lot done so bad that would turn fans away from the club they have spent so many years falling in love with and supporting?

Poor Tom clearly doesn't do irony. -
Deadly. Those mentioned were as useless as the directors you are talking about. Same principle, the club pishing money away for nothing.

If he tells us his plans, Celtic will know what they need to do to keep us at arms length from them. I don't want to hear them, i want to see them in action. Do the new FFP rules apply to us? If they do then revenue is going to be crucial and will determine whether we can ever again compete with Celtic again.

English call you a coward? -
What sort of cash cow? We were told there is no money in Scottish football, the game is f*cked, why would anyone invest in us or anyone else? etc etc. Well Ashley is here, why? What can this multi-billionaire possibly gain from bleeding dry a wee club from Scotland? We are loose change to him. The club has been trampled on for the last 15 years and fans have done nothing. These wee protests do nothing and serve no purpose. They are embarrassing. You want to make a difference? You want the club to take you serious? Make them listen to the fans? Then dig deep and make these people an offer for the club they can't refuse. Money is the only solution here. I'm not mate, i'm just, once again, getting sick to the back teeth of all the shite and negativity flying around about the club and whoever sits in the directors box. Yes we have been badly run, yes we have had a hard time of it, yes we are a mess right now but jesus christ, some of the stuff being said and alleged etc etc is pissing me off, it's actually turning against those spouting it. The scaremongering in the last few days, from the crest nonsense to Ashley using our own money to loan us. It's just one after another, all the time.

I didn't say they were stupid, i said what they do is stupid, to me. Yeah, i don't understand that at all. David Murray gave Chelsea £12m for Tore Flo and the place was bouncing. We paid shite like Capucho, Mo Ross, Christian Dailly and Egil Ostenstad a wage and the stadium was full. £2m over 18 months is similar to what we paid Steven Whittaker, one man not several, and he was a boo boy but the stadium was still full. It applies today, we are still football fans. They keep telling us they are but are not getting any chance whatsoever to show it. Boycotts don't help. Protests don't help. Fans walking away don't help. Rebel groups don't help. A million fans groups don't help. Who are you talking about here? Which director at Rangers is fundraising for ISIS? Deary f*cking me.

It may well do, I'm not claiming to be some sort of super fan or anything, far from it, just that I understand why people wouldn't goto the football for football reasons but don't understand why anyone wouldn't support their team because of who sits in a directors box, that's just stupid imo.

We've been told the club make nothing from merchandise so it matters not whether people but that stuff or not.

Of course i could just like all the other scaremongering from the outspoken and now defeated fans groups. Time for them to get back to Ibrox and support their team.

I wouldn't dream of defending our cost base, it's repugnant. I would like to know, why only £2m? Why not loan us £10m? If he genuinely had our best interests at heart, why not loan us enough to see us to next season? £2m is not a lot to a club like ours, it's basically pennies.
-
How many Newcastle fans turned their backs on the club because of Ashley? I noticed their home crowds are way higher than ours, that's what you call a support. For the last 13 years they have averaged sensational crowds, all through Ashleys reign too despite a few difficult seasons.

That ain't convincing me, no matter how much i trust FS. We should wait for the accounts i think.
-
It's more than £4m the boycotters have cost the club they love. Much more in fact. 20000 x 300 average price is £6m. Whilst thsoe figures are not 100% accurate as exact, they are not a million miles away. I was asked for well over £300 to renew my book and we keep getting told 20000 have not renewed. Add to those figures the on the day match ticket sales, of 5 thousand x £15 x 18 games and you have another £1.3m. Then all the hospitality we are losing. I wouldn't like to guess what this is but it will be substantial i imagine with suites being empty and half empty all season so far. And with FS' info that we haven't lost any merchandise revenue we are still almost double the £4m you think the boycotters have cost us.
-
So you keep telling us FS. Is there any documented proof of this? And is this a point that can be raised as a matter of urgency by our fans board? I feel it's rather important as it regards club revenue. Much needed revenue.

Everyone could do better.
