Gutted the rumour has turned out be true. I thought he was better than that. Not Rangers captain material.

A NARSA official will be able to confirm the story one way or the other i am sure.

I agree Alex. He has also won several bits of silverware at international and club level. A free agent now too after leaving Uganda in April there. -

McKay maybe an ex-Celtic player but he is not Celtic minded(i know you didn't say that mate, i am just saying). He would have been good for us a few years back, now though he is out of our reach. There are quite a few ex-Rangers players who are managers just now, either in a job or not. Ian McCall, Frank de Boer, Bobby Williamson, Gus MacPherson, Terry Butcher to name just 5 off the top of my head. Gattuso as well is starting out as a manager i am sure. Van Bronckhorst and R De Boer may well fancy a crack at management in the future. -

Cracking job to start out. Maybe a bit too big, i hope he doesn't sink. Best of luck to him. -
Either of those figures are ridiculously high. Yet again, our club and fans are not getting value for money from a staff member.

If true, a poor show from Jig.

I think there is a fair chance of that. -

They won't be but we will be. He is our player, we have to honour the rest of his contract unless he agrees to rip it up. I have no idea what he is on at Rangers but i can't see it being less than £15k a week. When he was loaned out i can imagine Green saying we would still pay a portion of his wage as long as Santander took on the majority of it. Same with Goian. My guess is we were paying a part of both their wages which will both be considerable. I think it's best if both move on asap. -
Because he is a poor manager and a very dislikeable guy. It's just my opinion of course, i don't like him.

Can't believe Rangers fans are defending Strachans ability. He is a terrible manager and a horrible classless person too.

What about McCulloch and McCoists desire to keep Alexander? Then there is Goian too. I would get rid of them all if it was up to me, including Boca. -

Klinsmann is just being respectful to an outstanding professional. It would be daft to close the door on anyone in case of emergencies but i think Boca honestly knew his days were numbered some time ago. -

You would have someone in our squad on between £15k and £20k a week? -
I don't see Strachans proven ability at all. His biggest success was at a club who spent 50-100 times what all their rivals could, hardly a level playing field. He has had one decent result for Scotland against a team who never bothered to turn up and you have him spoke about in terms of Rangers manager, c'mon. Failed at Coventry, Southampton and Middlesbrough. He is a poor football manager and a horrible little arrogant chip on his shoulder clown. I do agree McCoist won't make it long term but Strachan is not the answer.

Who at the club is responsible for putting a scouting team together and delegating them tasks? -
It's as if our club can't be bothered. I understand and appreciate we have other issues and many of them but my goodness, the business is all about money and merchandising can be worth so much. This is one aspect where the club are falling way behind others.
