I think we will win a cup this year
If he doesn't win the Ramsdens this year then there is simply no defence of McCoist left for anyone. It's in the bag.

You just have to look at your first three sentences to see you have the exact opposite attitude to what is required in the dressing room. That you don't get the irony is worrying...
Liabilities and technically inept footballers are NOT what i want in our dressing room.

His signing strategy is obviously to sign as many players as he can! We need bodies out more than we need them in right now.

Foster never let us down during his time with us and I thought he was another player whose fitness and attitude was spot on. Ok, so not a world beater, but you need guys like that in your squad and our defence would be more solid with him in it.
Is Andy Webster there to maybe pick up some flip flops he left in the sauna from before? Can't be any other reason for the wage thief to be at Auchenhowie surely?
Foster was a liability and another footballer who cannot pass the ball 5 yards or more. We have enough of them. More dross to an already huge squad. I have a fantastic attitude, can i get a game?

An ex-Celt, eh, working at Ibrox. Another one......hmm.

Possible....looks quite smart...
Oh my, now we are talking!

Gutted Foster is a target. Just a mediocre footballer. Even at this level we should be better than that. Heartbreaking.

Logos and badge look ironed on. Cheap training gear. Not a fan of the 5 stars either but i can see why we kept them this year of all years!

Why would Alexander be there? His contract has ran out, no?

Nice to see wee Smudger get through first days training injury free.

I drove past ibrox yesterday and must say that the corrugated plastic cladding that is on the sides of he broomloan stand are an awful dingy yellow colour now. would be nice to have these cleaned or replaced.
I wrote a letter to the club years ago about that. It is an eyesore. Would love to replace them with something more up to date and easy on the eye.

I think players will leave before the end of August. The most notable ones being Goian & Bocanegra. Also following the recent signings I wouldn't be surprised if the likes of Perry & Hutton left too as they don't look Rangers class to me.
Some of the youngsters not getting a game going out on loan might not be too bad an idea too. I hear certain SPL sides are short of players after cost-cutting forced them to ditch a number of players at the end of last season. If we loaned out youngsters it would allow us to assess them at a higher level & give a better idea whether they'd make it or not
There's not one Rangers class player in the entire squad, that said, the two you name are especially mediocre and need to go. We won't see Rangers class again for at least another 3 years or so so we need to get by with the best we can find.

There's 19 players and not one kid amongst them. It is going to be hard now for the likes of MacLeod, Aird, McKay, Hegarty, Mitchell, Crawford etc etc. Our squad is enormous for this level. That's without mentioning Cole, Naismith, McAusland, A Smith and Scott Gallacher. There are going to be some rich passengers sitting up in that main stand with suits on every second week!

There's no money spinning in 17000 capacity stadia against a club whos fans have not forgot how you treated us last year when it was a free for all. Hearts can GTF.

I thought Dundee weren't actually having their kit made by Puma but by a third party through with Puma logo.
Genesis, a lot of the Puma kits are being made by them. Cheap, nasty and tacky as hell. We have to be officially Puma.

We already have about 5 or 6 players who can or have played right back and still on our books. We don't need Foster nor do i want him. A very poor footballer.

Given how unfit our players have looked over the years he will be no great loss. Goodness we were over run by part-timers at times last season.

I think this guy asks good questions and does some good digging. Certainly makes you think. Is Prior a plant? Is he part of the conspiracy? Is it worth £750k to our enemies to "look under our hood"? What would they gain?

A proper merchandising website is the answer then
Something we have also been crying out for since the 90's when we hit the "big time"!

if I understand britney's arguement it is this:
On the one hand UEFA, the SFA, the ECA, the Scottish Courts, Lord Nimmo Smith and the Advertising Standards Authority all said and continue to say that Rangers is the same club.
On the other, a tabloid hack with newspapers to sell, a Yorkshire carpetbagger with a buck to make, two ex-Rangers in the immediate aftermath of the turmoil and some bloke named 'Boal' said a year ago that we're not (although at least 4 of those have since changed their opinion).
As GS says, you'd have to be a moron to really believe that Rangers doesn't exist although he could have added 'bigot' as well.
It's not rocket science; it's really not.
The club was founded in 1872.
The club became so successful and attracted so many spectators that it formed a company to run its affairs in 1899.
The club played football; the Company ran the organisation, raised funds, did the admin and took care of the legalities.
The club played in blue jerseys; the Company wore suits.
The Company employed people to play football for the club.
That company went into liquidation in 2012.
The club's affairs are now managed by a new company; Hence Newco and not Newclu.
Brilliant article by the way, amms .
Love this post! Well said.

Don't let yourself be lead down the garden path here. At the time many of us felt similarly, in one way or another. A rash or untimely statement fulfils Britney's agenda and he full well knows that these people hardly regard Rangers as a new club now. His defence of the BBC, no matter how he clads it, is woeful.
Cheers der Berliner, i know what you are saying and completely agree.

Did Smith and Gough honestly say those things?
I could go on and on here. Richard Gough, one of Rangers' greatest ever captains, wrote in a newspaper column: "The club I gave blood, sweat and tears for is dead."
Walter Smith, one of the greatest figures in Rangers' history, and now the club's chairman, said of Green's consortium taking over: "I wish the new Rangers Football Club every good fortune."

McDowall a target now? Who next? I see no reason for our assistant manager to be build like someone from Geordie Shore or as fit as Mo Farrah.
