The debt was only reduced because of success on the park. Had we not qualified for the Champions League, the bank may well have called in our debt a lot sooner. We have a lot to be thankful for to Walter and the players. -

McColl is talking nonsense when he say Paul Murray will not allow anyone to put themselves before Rangers, he let SDM do it for years without so much as a mutter of displeasure or discontent. -

The costs which are the issue are the playing staff and managerial salaries. They are astronomical for the targets we have set and the level we currently find ourselves. So i ask again, why is the manager being given so much to work with when we have had to dig into an IPO fund to cover operating costs? And before anyone starts the Ally bashing crap, this is not a dig at Ally. What other costs would you say are the issue in your opinion? We can;t stop paying for our gas, electricity, key staff wages.....where do we cut? The biggest ones to cut that would make a difference to overheads and affect the business the least are on the playing side. We could cut playing costs hugely and still meet our targets but we have chose not to, why? We don't need a squad touching 30 men, many of whom will earn thousands per week for simply sitting in a stand watching games instead of contributing.

Do they not know how stupid that looks. Claiming to be like no other yet plastering the slogan within a half empty stadium. They have serious delusions of grandeur.

And what about electricity, maintenance, Auchenhowie running costs, non playing staff costs and all the other overheads? They may well exceed the playing staff wage bill, most likely actually. Our club is a huge company and business with a very limited turnover for now.

I wouldn't call around £10m a small fraction. The targets for the last 2 years could have been met with a budget a tiny fraction of that.

Then argue against it instead of throwing childish insults. Why has Ally had to carry a squad costing us at least £7m per annum to win a league which was won before a ball was kicked? Twice. Why was he not given a budget in line with the league we were in?

We might end up back in admin but only because Ally needed so much money spent on his team to compete with part time managers and teams. Shall we just shout sack the board because they backed our manager? Anyway, did Bomber actually mention the deeds again?

That question means absolutely nothing nor would the answer tell us anything interesting. We are not talking about taking sides from one person to another. It's a human being or a football club. Walter Smith the man would absolutely 100% put his friendship with McCoist before our club, no doubt about it. Perhaps you do him a disservice. Ally absolutely deserves to lose his job. How many more chances do we give him to mess up? How many more humiliations? How many more cup exits? His time is well and truly up.
