  1. What if he scores the goal that wins the SC and hence puts us in the EL the following season, and we never see him in a Rangers strip again? { where does this speculation stop? }
  2. Tom Miller of RTV said during the match commentary that Templeton was injured and would be out for at least a month. I can't remember what the injury was.
  3. According to Tom Miller of RTV, it's the pioneer sound.
  4. They going to bring back the yellow toothed thunder, do you think?
  5. Templeton, Zaliuskas.
  6. I feel your stance is that we should use our own youth players rather than someone else's. That's fine, but what if our own youth players are not quite ready to produce the quality required? A case in point is McKay. He went out to Morton last year and he seems much better prepared for the first team this year. Walsh is part of the first team pool and will get his chance. Murdoch is not considered ready for prime-time and will be loaned out. Our recent history of single season loanees has proved successful in the past. I'm thinking of Weiss, Bartley and Diouff. Until we are better prepared to buy quality, I don't see a problem with short term loan deals. The goal this season has to be - absolutely, no excuses - to gain promotion, by whatever means we can use.
  7. Why do you say this?
  8. Saturday, 25 July 2015 Hibs 2-6 Rangers RANGERS: Foderingham, Tavernier, Kiernan, Wilson, Wallace, Holt (Shiels 60), Halliday, Law; McKay, Waghorn (Clark 74), Templeton (Miller 60). You think that is too much?
  9. I don't think he is evading the questions so much as answering them full on. He articulates his stance while at the same time he removes any stumbling blocks the reporters are attempting to lay for him. You can tell this by the lack of in-depth follow up questions from the reporters. They are recognizing that this man is perceptive, charming, non-aggressive and well prepared. You can tell that they are giving this man respect, albeit grudgingly, because he is earning it. This may translate into better reporting of Rangers and their affairs. Warburton may in fact be the fulcrum-point for projecting Rangers, both on and off the pitch, back to their revered and respected position as the leaders in Scottish football.
  10. Sour grapes.

  13. Hell, you're the only one who seems to think that SA is an overwhelming talent. If I remember right, in last season's playoffs Allan showed some pace and trickery but young Murdoch neutralised him to the point of being ineffective. Look back, no one had compared him to Law before you did. It seems to me that the majority are not that impressed with SA, not in comparison to Law, just SA on his own. I think we should just heed the words of Warburton, we only want players who want to play for Rangers, and move on.
  14. Nicky "The Chicken" Law - Rangers' player. Attempts to help Rangers on occasion. Sometimes he even succeeds. Could possibly be useful to us. Scott Allan - NON-Rangers' player. Will attempt to score against Rangers. Sometimes he may even succeed. Will never be of use to us. Tell me exactly where the delusion exists. Oh, by the way, if you are going to attempt to pick a fight with someone - get the facts straight.

  18. I don't agree with this view myself, but some people say that he can't play defence.
  19. All the more reason not to add to a squad which in your eyes, it would appear, are unacceptable. For myself, I would disagree with you. I thought that from yesterday's starting eleven there were three players who are perfectly acceptable for Warburton's needs; Wallace, Walsh and McKay. The jury is still out on Law.
  20. If he can't focus on the requirements of the job on the field while he is under external pressures then he is of no use to us. Warburton expects his squad to be totally committed to the job in hand, for the duration.
  21. http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11788/9934858/rangers-make-third-bid-for-hibernian-midfielder-scott-allan Rangers make third bid for Hibernian midfielder Scott Allan Last Updated: 04/08/15 8:11pm    Rangers have made a third for Hibernian's Scott Allan Rangers have made a third for Hibernian's Scott Allan Rangers have made a third bid for Hibernian midfielder Scott Allan of around £300,000, Sky sources understand. Hibs have refused to sell the 23-year-old, despite Allan handing in a transfer request after Gers’ opening two offers of £175,000 and £225,000 were rejected by the Edinburgh club. Allan was left on the bench when the two sides met in the Petrofac Training Cup last month, although he did come on in the latter stages of the 6-2 defeat for Alan Stubbs’ side. The Ibrox club have been long-time admirers of Allan and he was linked with a move there last summer before ending up at Easter Road instead. By handing in his transfer request, Allan has made his desire to transfer along the M8 to Glasgow and join the club he grew up supporting clear. He has received a mixed reception from Hibs fans since, with some booing him and other applauding him when he came on in the League Cup against Montrose at the weekend. By putting in a third bid, the club has at least kept faith with the lad after he handed in his transfer request.
  22. That was absolutely brilliant ball control and balance. We could use that guy.
  23. I never asked for your opinion, I asked for confirmation of the tweet.
  24. Just like he was well-enough connected when he put up the Mohammed cartoon?
