  1. Not if you are just exhuberant, it would appear.
  2. Something must be coming down the pipe which they wish to deflect from, no doubt.
  3. Mark McGhee facing SFA charge Last Updated: February 21 2017, 16:34 GMT Motherwell manager Mark McGhee has been hit with a Scottish Football Association notice of complaint over his dismissal against Aberdeen. McGhee has been handed a misconduct charge after being sent to the stand during his team's 7-2 thrashing at Pittodrie last week. The SFA charge alleges that McGhee "used offensive, abusing and/or insulting language and gestures" and "adopted aggressive behaviour" towards a match official. http://www.sportinglife.com/football/news/article/165/10776642/motherwell-manager-mark-mcghee-has-been-hit-with-a-sfa-notice-of-complaint
  4. Oh, calm down. Have you seen any of their games this season? How many games have they won by the odd goal and how many crazy decisions have gone their way? They really are not that good, it's just that the rest of us are crap. Our team are capable of playing good football and winning games but since the 'Barton incident' we have not been convincing. A good manager and a couple of good buys and all this goes away next season.
  5. That list is pish. We all know that the next guy is Lennon - buts Hibs won't do business with us.
  6. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scots_contract_law A Contract is formed by the acceptance of an offer; an offer can be constituted by responding to an invitation to treat. A contract is a legally binding voluntary agreement that is formed when one person makes an offer, and the other accepts it. There may be some preliminary discussion before an offer is formally made. Such pre-contractual representations are known variously as “invitations to treat”, ”requests for information” or “statements of intention”. https://rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/club-statement-74/ ... "At a meeting with the management team’s representative earlier this week the Club were advised that Mr Warburton, Mr Weir and Mr McParland wished to resign their positions and leave the Club on condition that Rangers agreed to waive its rights to substantial compensation. Rangers’ agreement to waive compensation would assist the management team to join another club. This compensation amount was agreed when Rangers significantly improved Mr Warburton and Mr Weir’s financial arrangements before the start of this season. The Board urgently convened to consider the offer made on behalf of the management team and its ramifications and agreed to accept it and release the trio from the burden of compensation, despite the potential financial cost to the Club." ... ..."The representative acting for the management team subsequently attempted to alter the terms of what had been agreed in favour of the management team. A further Board meeting was held this afternoon to discuss this and it was decided not to agree to this additional request but to hold with the original agreement." ... ..."Mr Warburton, Mr Weir, and Mr McParland have therefore been notified in writing that their notices of termination have been accepted." ... As a starting point we have to accept that the Club's statement is accurate. This shows that a contract was in place from the beginning of last week to release the management team without any compensation for Rangers.{How long ago did W,W, & McP know that a suitable opening would appear?} The Board executed the conditions of that agreed contract - contract fulfilled. When the representative attempted to counter the execution of said contract then the Board were quite within their rights to refuse his offer and would not accept agreement on a new contract. Sorry, we don't want you if you can't commit to the famous shirt. Bye, bye thanks for your effort. The board played a binder.
  7. You are, no doubt, an honest guy BH but I was not thinking of other referees. There again maybe I'm just getting overly cynical about the nest(s) of vipers, so to speak, that reside in Hampden.
  8. After watching the video I'm sure Thomson could not have had any other course of action. I also would think that Thomson was encouraged to make the call by others in the game. Fans would be driven away from the game if they thought that corruption was this blatant and not merely a mistake. However, his mea culpa moment does nothing for St. Johnstone or the rest of the teams in the league.
  9. Has anybody ever heard the phrase 'take their time and space away from them' or 'make them part with the ball quickly'? Ergo, is it possible that on the night, Hearts were the more eager team and hence deserved their victory? They rushed us, harried us and took away our will to win. If there is anything to learn from that defeat it is 'get into them - and for 90 mins.' (and don't make dumb mistakes). Tomorrow is another day !
  10. That's unfair. The mind boggles at the inherent prospects allied to that question !!
  11. Never thought I would ever see that headline in this era.
  12. I agree. We were handed a football lesson by a team that was committed. It was better organized, fitter, bigger, faster, stronger - a calibre apart. The next player we acquire must cost us a few quid and be a leader around whom we can build a team.
  13. In what other business, in light of these economic figures, would the respective CEOs be allowed to maintain their positions? Unless Regan and Doncaster made a deal of continued employment when Rangers were ejected from the SPL, they should be fired.
  14. I bet they wish now that they had offered more than £20M ... Celtic tell West Ham to forget about signing Moussa Dembele for £20million The Hammers sounded out Scotland’s champions about strike sensation but were told offer will be rejected. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-transfer-news/celtic-tell-west-ham-forget-9570113
  15. 'The important thing about this game is that the Rangers are back. They have come from far.The 54 times champions lost but it was far from a walkover. They may not be at the same level as Celtic just yet but they are building and should be back contending in the very near future.' If that is how someone outwith the Scottish football environment sees Rangers, that'll do me. Keep it going guys, WATP.
  16. For the first 25 mins. or so we looked good. High tempo and energetic. When they got their equalizer we dipped and never regained momentum. Our boys tried, but with no real conviction. It can't all be on McKay to be creative.
  17. Momentum. When this team loses it, it doesn't seem to have the strength of character to regain it. Disappointing.

Publishing Publishing is the dissemination of literature' date='[b'] music, or information[/b]—the activity of making information available to the general public. In some cases, authors may be their own publishers, meaning originators and developers of content also provide media to deliver and display the content for the same. Also, the word publisher can refer to the individual who leads a publishing company or an imprint or to a person who owns/heads a magazine. D'Art, going by that definition of publishing I would think that the Lord Advocate could severely punish anyone singing the praises of a proscribed organization. n.b. Her Majesty's Advocate, known as the Lord Advocate (Scottish Gaelic: Morair Tagraidh, Scots: Laird Advocat), is the chief legal officer of the Scottish Government and the Crown in Scotland for both civil and criminal matters that fall within the devolved powers of the Scottish Parliament. He or she is the chief public prosecutor for Scotland and all prosecutions on indictment are conducted by the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service, nominally in the Lord Advocate's name. The officeholder is one of the Great Officers of State of Scotland. The current Lord Advocate is The Rt Hon. James Wolffe, QC.
