I agree the game is entertainment, you pay money to go through the turnstile or watch on RTV. That's for the players playing the game. Not for some fool trying to draw attention to himself once the kickoff has been taken. Some are easily pleased, I guess.

If you wish to defend or deflect from his behaviour when losing, so be it. However, what can you say of his behaviour today when he was dancing and skipping all over the park when achieving a draw? Neither a win nor a loss but a draw, which improves his league table position not a whit. Buy him a tutu and be done with it. His problem is not mental health but bigotted hatred.

Good one from Ronaldo ... Reporter: “Why didn’t you celebrate your goal against Barcelona?” Ronaldo: “How am I supposed to celebrate when the person who taught me to play football is suffering in the hospital.”

He controls the ball after he hits the guy's ankle. Amazing how we all see something different.
-
Studs over the top of the ball landing on one of our guy's ankle, I'd be looking for a red card.
-
In truth, he could quite easily have been sent off for either tackle.

The publicity for Rangers is great. Stevie G. is world-renowned. Then he has to win two to three Qualifiers, and win 4/5 league games. This is just to set his stall up for Celtic. Tall order and not impossible, but to install in the team and the rest of the league he's a winner, it's imperative he get relatively quick consistancy.
-
What are they going to say, we've heard it all before? The only thing that will talk comprehensively is a big investment.
-
Very, very depressing.
-
It's a must win ... 1) the boost it would give to STs, 2) the psychological boost for the fans throughout the summer, and 3) the increase in new tops sales for next season.

Neil McCann tells Tommy Wright he's not welcome at Dens Park

I wonder what people on here feel about the standard of MLS soccer. I've been watching Toronto FC this season, they are the team who gave us Maurice Edu, and they are currently contesting with Chivas Guadalaraja for the CONCACAF CL. The winner enters FIFA's world club competition. The point is their coach, Greg Vanney, joined them in 2014 and has transformed them from a no-mark team into champions. They play good football and are quite hard to beat. I think this guy has a winner's mentality. He's quite young, active and relatively successful. You can read about him here - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greg_Vanney

... " for God’s sake listen to the real voice of the Club – the fans." ... That part I completely agree with. But how can the board find out what the fans really want? As you know the fans are split on all the forums, pubs, RSCs, podcasts, blogs, etc. So, to whom does the board listen, what exact actions do they need to perform to get the changes required? We've tried different approaches to fan representation and we still end up with fragmented opinions. How about something different? Talk to the fans directly. The board cannot speak to every fan globally, but they can speak to every ST holder individually. Use email, letter mail or whatever form of communication works for each individual on the ST list. Have them answer a series of questions directly related to the club. This should include their satisfaction with or not, with the board, managers in various positions, coaches, and players. Ask if they think they should be kept on the payroll, traded, bought out etc. Ask them who they think is the first(or more) priority to try for the new season. All kinds of variations on this premise. The point is though this will be spread over 43K ST holders, keyboard warrior reponses should be ignored. The people who pay to watch the team on a weekly basis has to be the people whose opinions are most crucial, in the cold light of day, in building the %ages needed to sway the board. The advice and choices are then given and the board woud ignore these choices at their peril. This poll does not need to take any more than a week, and then the club can pubish the figures. Some of the choices may be easy to achieve others not and some not at all, but at least the fans and the board would attempt to move in the same general direction. We all want the same thing - 55 and soon !!

The aspirations of C1872 in that statement are fair enough but they pale in comparison to the exigencies requiring attention by the club right now.

Ex-Celtic Boys Club coach to stand trial on abuse charges Andy McLaren3 hours ago The 70-year-old faced the allegations during a hearing at the High Court in Glasgow. Trial: He will appear in June. Former Celtic Boys Club coach and founder James Torbett is to stand trial charged with historic sexual abuse of six young boys. The 70-year-old faced the allegations during a hearing at the High Court in Glasgow. Torbett, from Kelvindale in Glasgow, faces 12 charges spanning from January 1970 to August 1994. The boys mentioned are said to have been aged between four and 14 when Torbett is first accused of abusing them. A number of locations are listed on the indictment including Barrowfield Football Ground in Glasgow's London Road, where Celtic previously trained. The offences are said to have occurred at Torbett's home, dormitories in Belgium and France as well as training facilities in Glasgow's west end and Bristol, England. Prosecutors also list "factory premises" known as The Trophy Centre in the city's Pollokshaws. Torbett's QC Tony Graham pleaded not guilty on his behalf to the charges. Judge Lady Stacey set a trial for June. The case could last up to 10 days. Bail for Torbett was continued. https://stv.tv/news/west-central/1411830-ex-celtic-boys-club-coach-to-stand-trial-over-sex-offences/ It's also on the BBC site ... http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-43655108 -
He gave us what he could for as long as he could. He was always a short-term rental. Good luck to him.

GM may not be ready, I'll concede that. However, what group of players chucks it in the second half against Celtic and after 15 mins. today. The almost same team was winning against all sorts just three weeks ago. We've watched this through five or six coaches now, when are the players going to take responsibilty? Do they really need to be led by the hand through each stage of a game?
