  1. Again, this was no accusation. I don't blame Coisty for doing so as it's quite a natural move as you pointed out.
  2. To be honest, I don't believe that playing in another country/ cross border league will happen any time soon. Green makes it sound like a last straw he's trying to reach, appearing quite desperate to me. Good on him for taking action, but shouldn't we try to get a vote and say in this, rather then rely on unrealistic prospects in the mid term future?
  3. Literate bit of posting there mate. I remember the debate going on here about gersnet having a sort of class. Maybe this is not your forum then.
  4. I wouldn't say Ally chooses out of pure sympathy. But it seems when a player has earned his spot in the starting XI, it is very hard for him to lose it again, except for injury. Take Sandaza for example. How many starting line up spots did he have despite horrendous performances until he was replaced finally. Not a take on Ally as I'm sure this isn't a policy, just appears to have a lot of trust in players once he starts them and gives them a lot of time of time to show what they can contribute. In some cases this surely has been positive though.
  5. Maybe he's implying we are never getting back up again, which would be an equally deranged comment
  6. Which are not strongholds of football expertise themselves. Really tells a lot.
  7. A good artricle D'artagnan, thanks. What becomes obvious through these viewing figures is what most of us already had a feeling for. Rangers are the only show in town and the SPL is pretty much dead in the water without us. Yet they still try to kill us of somehow, may just be reflection of their intellect.
  8. Surely his book wil have made him a millionaire by now.
  9. By the way, very uplifting to read this much of a good kicking from an official side. Does me proud.
  10. Just to clarify this. If reconstruction takes place as envisaged winning SFL 3 title is not going to get us promoted?
  11. Probably just a matter of time his wee mates turn their back on him. That doesn't go for Thompson, he's probably as deludud as the man himself.
  12. Sadly enough not even that would surprise me. Some Tims seem to have loads of spare time and more hatred for us then love for their club.
  13. Doesn't take an official statement to realise that.
  14. I hope these are going to be brave types because all of Tannadump will be raging at them.
  15. Did some research. Obviously some bears don't enjoy her cheering on Lovell when he played against us, she's supposed to have said that our travelling support in 2008 UEFA Cup final was a shame and then this with McGregor. Anyway, never could I care enough about her to be upset. Edit: Lovell is/ was her fiance so fair enough for me to cheer on him
  16. Frankly, I think anyone of us has made a comment about a player or former player. I don't see the big fuss. Given it is even true she made that comment.
  17. What's the big deal about her? I mean why does anybody care enough to abuse her?
  18. Unfortunately I have to agree. I would even take a stand for him and say he might be experimenting with tactics and formations since we are up by a margin, but it's been chaos since game one.
  19. I'm not angry with them. Fans tend to be romantic about football but this is a player's job and 99% of the lads treat it that way. The other 1% may really care for the club they play for but that's the exception.
  20. This is not the way things work. Positions (and with them contracts) are given to players who perform well and have a chance of performing well in the future. Whether or not Alexander has that potential is really up for Coisty to decide isn't it. Personally I'd like to see him wear light blue a couple more years.
  21. We can't afford the 15k and I really doubt he'd be worth that amount. Is he willing to accept a lower wage? I doubt that as well.
  22. You're right, I've never expected to skin anybody in this league.
  23. They get to play against better opposition who is physically stronger. You don't just learn from your teammates, you will learn a great deal from your opponents as well.
  24. Right amms, understood it as his performance as manager wouldn't be judged at all. As for being seen as a failure unless winning every league by 25 points he's absolutely right. Personally I don't think it works like that but expectations are always high.
