I've not posted much this season but i've always agreed with the 'horses for courses' phrase.Tougher games we play away from home in Europe ,when a 4-5-1 is the ideal formation, are the only games where i'd agree that Boyd perhaps should be overlooked. ANY other game - he should playing. Form permitting of course , but he hasnt even been given a run of games to prove his worth.

Think that might be the most blatant indication yet that Smith just doesnt rate him. I've held back on commenting about Walter so far but i have to say now - he is getting it wrong week after week. Teams should be coming to Ibrox and worrying about what formation WE play - not trying to match the away side. I've been looking out for the Clyde scores since John Brown took over. They scored two late goals to win at Morton today and lift them out of the relegation spot in the 3rd division. Only Bombers 2nd game in charge i think - im sure the big man will do well there. Andy Goram has just came in as goalkeeping coach as well - could be ideal having those guys there ,could be a great place to send our young hopefuls on loan?

I had a look at some clips of Caracciolo on youtube earlier. Saw quite a few of his goals and he looked a good penalty box finisher...........but we already have an even better one of those already IMO. Simon Davies would do well in the SPL and i wouldnt mind seeing him at Ibrox. Maybe Walter and Martin might hear of something else while they are stuck in Italy?? Fingers crossed that there might be an unsettled creative midfielder kicking around somewhere. If all else fails we'll just bring Gattuso back with us

I was among the boo boys 6 months ago and never imagined how much he would improve in such a short time. Well done to the lad. Unless he wants to move ,i dont think Rangers would accept any bid for him. And Im sure Barry will be reminding him that the Premiership isnt what its cracked up to be. What was the Jean Claude Darcheville song? Was it to the tune of Brown Girl In The Ring or something? Getting some new songs on the go is vital IMO and credit to those who come up with ideas and have the brass kneck to try and start them off! One thing i was wondering though - is it not an idea to continue singing 'Hello Hello' but change some of the words e.g replace the 'Billy boys' with 'Rangers Boys'? Or do you think some people would still continue to sing the old version and get us in the shit again? The loss of that song has hampered the volume which used to be raised at Ibrox and i think its a shame that we cant just tweak it a bit.

Fowlers agent is in the early edition of tomorrows Herald stressing how much he wants and hopes to sign for Rangers. Apparantly " Wages arent an issue ,he wants to sign for Rangers and win medals..." If he'd accept a substantial wage reduction i think we should just go for it.
