    Ally's remit is to get us back into the top division and to do it at the first time of asking which is why he has put together a team capable of doing exactly that. It really is that simple, we need to be back in the top flight with the opportunity of European football asap and the team that is currently in place should ensure this happens. Sure, at the end of this season and partly through next we need to be in a position financially to be signing players and building a team that will be able to compete at the top level in this country. I do however firmly believe that once Ally has achieved winning the championship he will walk away.

    Great piece and the depiction of your visit to Manchester was like you were picking my memory, spot on except i spent 24 hours in that dreary city.

    This cup final should have been played at one of the competing clubs ground, Livingston or Falkirk stadium would have sufficed IMO. Hibs will not be supplying their stadium for nothing and i for one will not be giving them a penny of my money.

    There are a fair number of celebrity Rangers fans out there who don't want anyone to know which team they support as there is a stigma associated with being one of the people. Andy Cameron has never been one of these type and is as close as we get to having a celebrity fan openingly pin their colours. So although i find him unfunny i am also not offended by him either and find some of the comments on here against him, in want of a better word, shite!

    Sure he has dived, but he has also received a far few sore ones thus far and i'm sure most fans would struggle to name many modern players who stay on their feet and takes a sore one nowadays when it's far easier to body swerve and fall over . Not a fan of him rolling around though, i'm sure he'll not be so keen when it's a frozen muddy night at Bayview. I seem to remember Petrov diving during a champions league match against Shaktner me thinks? when he actually landed on top the guy that was meant to have fouled him because he dived to soon resulting in the Russian player being sent off and the tims then taking the 3 points. This one is a another classic from him and i don't recall him being branded a diver....

    and on the same day Dundee Harp beat Aberdeen Rovers 35-0....although the actual result should have been 37-0 but for the match official losing count.

    QOS may have lost their top goalscorer from last season but they still know their way to goal, tough tie for any side although i still expect a victory.
