Fair reply. I reckon your correct about the Sunday trading being a mistake. It was a political move at the wrong time which made her own views even less sustainable.(in my opinion of course ). I reckon you will see less abstaining these days tho and more voting down. Shouldn't be too hard to distinguish what is English only matters, especially like this example it's clear cut. They only other point I would say is I don't believe it should matter if the mp's are Scottish or English. We vote for the party amd policy shouldn't matter what nationality they are. England does have the majority of course, Shamelessly from wiki "The estimated*population*of the United Kingdom in the 2011 census was 63.182 million of whom 31.029m were male and 32.153m female. Based on the 2011 census the*population*ofEngland*was 53.012m (84% of the*UK),Scotland*was estimated at 5.295m (8.4%), Wales was 3.063m (4.8%) and Northern Ireland 1.811m (2.9%)." So 84% of the UK population is English, hmm surley that entitles them to more MP's. Or is that too simplistic way to look at It? Again tho I don't think it should matter. We vote for the same party's. Very rarely would you get all English MP's agreeing on anything, especially in a Scotland v England v Wales v Ulster type of vote. Likewise, I of course respect not everyone will agree with me, amd I respect your opinion too, life would be boring if we all agreed all the time afterall -

But Scottish MP's are voting down English only laws.. works both ways mateRecently nippy kicked English Sunday trading into touch as it would harm Scotland. Biggest lot of shit. Drives me nuts only have shops open till 4pm on Sunday dowm here.. At least Scotland can make a lot of power for themselves.. thr English don't have this luxury. -

Dorrans showing class today without Niko. Common push to finish this off now -
Each to there own I guess mate. Certainly never experienced a truly awful night out there though.had some great nights out through there. Live bands midweek, some good beer too in the grassmarket area. Leith on the other hand I got bottled for walking down Leith walk with a French connection T shirt that had a union Jack fingers on the front. Guess both city's have there good and bad areas within. I'm sure Cardoso will be loving life wherever he Is,I mean he even has a song already. (Albeit it has been hijacked already by sectarianism)

I lived in Edinburgh for a few years whilst I studied. Weegie by anyone standards I also think edinburgh is the 'better' city. How can you compare both city centres ? Glasgow has some cracking architecture but isn't a patch on the 'Burgh as a city in my opinion. I found edinburgh much more a 'rugby' city tho haha and glasgow football is miles above them of course

Thanks mate, I was in the Hillsborough club beforehand and sat drinking with the home fans. I live down here and loved every minute of having my fellow bears down today. Thanks for the hospitality. Hope you get passed those play offs this year.. (top 2 this time so you don't need go near Wembley)

Although I find this rather amusing, please stop it... Jesus wept... anyone think we can actually win this game?

Mmm half hour or so away Donny at a good time. Could get train to meadowhall from there right right and tram to stadium
-
Rotherham is a good solution. Grab one there. Good transport links to Sheffield and only a few minutes. Manchester is an hour on a train or a nightmare drive
-
Too many people at work don't realise the implications of using there work account can have. We have plenty staff who use it as a personal email address then get arsey when we start pruning mailboxes.

I've done Sheffield to Glasgow and back in 1 day numerous times.. don't do it. That's my advice.
