ALS Ice Bucket Challenge feat. McGregor, McCoist, Boyd and more...
pmu replied to chilledbear's topic in Rangers Chat
Mcgregor can f off. He did ok out of our problems himself... -
Was Mcoist seriously looking at signing another keeper if bell had been out longer! That is fucking scandalous to even be considered.
-
"until he fails to win a league title" Hope it's not this year then or another year in the championship beckons. I'm sure you will stay calm and accept Ally for another year after that as it doesnt look like this board can afford to fire him. Cracking vision for our future!
-
A very sensible measured answer. I'm sure use of "worst in world" etc is not literal but just to emphasise Clyde/Ally wallowing in lower performance bracket!
-
Would you say we have the worst board in the world?
-
I think its a stretching it a bit to say we have moved forward. What this result has done is set down a marker in supporter expectations. It WONT be 8 -1 every week but that is the manner we should be dispatching 90% of opposition in championship. If a corner was turned in terms of allys input then we can expect more of the same. If it was just a flash in the pan then nowt changes.
-
Agree they are not set up not comment directly on allys performance, however.. They always bang on about where is the big investment coming from. I would respect them more if they "demanded" , as is their wont, that this board made some major cost cuts across all the business and actualy run our club within its means. This should have been easy peasy these last two years if there had been 1. No excessive board room money grabs 2. A manager on a contract a quarter of the incumbent 3. A football player budget a quarter of the current We only ever hear about point 1 from uof.

Is he? Just watched newcastle today. Entertaining they were!

Our business - Lower League Rangers to Top Tier Rangers
pmu replied to Super Cooper's topic in Rangers Chat
Haha some might say they already have! Lol -
Its all a bit of a mystery but i would bet that his wage cut is linked to him staying on as manager. Prob reverts to full amount if he gets the bullet. To ice the cake they prob have to pay his previous cut as well if goes. It has a whiff of "onerous contract" about it

Our business - Lower League Rangers to Top Tier Rangers

Ally rebuilding a whole squad fit for spfl! How much would he be demanding from the board or kinger for that! Mind boggling sums methinks -

To be honest i was expecting some new revelation from him about behind the scenes tensions. Nothing new. most telling part of his piece is his almost complete agreement with ally that off the field problems are to blame for on field. When will some journo actually call out mt mcoist at a press conference and grill him about his managerial performance and not just accept this complete and utter bullshit.

She could probably do a scouting job for us,...

We hadn't even come out of admin and fans were already discussing where we would get the 20-50,million to beat celtic first year back in spl. Hell even wattie was at it. To even suggest that this was wrong way to go about our comeback was shot down as lacking ambition, Rangers will never be second best etc. I expect similar comments now.. Our recovery should have been based on spending for the level we were at plus a premium to ensure we were ahead at all times. Step by step with realistic goals and properly managed performance at all levels. If done right we could have been back at the top in 5-6 years. But thats not good enough for us is it? Instead we fucking daydream about sugar daddy's with a spare 50 mill sloshing around to bestow on our ally who will come good when he gets his hands on said 50 mill! Aye right! Me - i would have been proud to follow our team, ups and downs as we hard worked our way back. Now i despise what we have become ( or maybe just continued to be), from boardroom to kitman. We are slowly losing the "soul" of the club we all grew up supporting. Worst for me is it's not just the money grabbing board etc, what else did we expect from them, but the supposed rangers lovers who have and still are destroying what little bit of dignity we have left..
-
Well unless it slipped your cynical notice hertz just beat us at home today... Care less about what us going on in arabland if you wish. They are a much better side than us and deem telfer good enough. Remember before we get near to toppling celtic we have to get past the motherwells, sheep and arabs etc.. With simonsen resigned he would have been understudy to that clown, never mind second fiddle to bell!
-
I clocked a few shots today of pretty pissed off players. How long until they get fed up being made to look like fannies and break rank on the manager?
-
It seems to be well documented that telfer left directly because of ally. Btw he came on today against the sheep and appears to be firmly in their first team squad. Nibody going to ibrox even knows what the lad looks like as he was never seen! Gallagher requested to leave as soon as simonsen was re signed. That is pretty self explanatory

Hearts and hibs, on early appearance seem to have found more creative midfielders from out of nowhere.
-
For me pic 79 should shame them just as much. Now i'm not saying he was the man for us but for hearts to have been in potentialy worse position than us to go out and get a dof and rookie coach, and can f us over in space of a few months,!!!
-
He's not wrong there. We are a disaster. Just a strange little one. If he currently runs the show why does he need investment backing to regain control.
-
I went through a phase of watching his ramblings on a regular basis. He spews out shite on a daily basis and hey guess what, occasionally he gets one right! He is one c@#* of a specimen.. ( let me add " Rangers obsessed" c@#*)
