My expectations? Low.

Goal keeping coaches are fine, been around a long time and ‘keepers are strange creatures plying an unusual trade understandable only to their own kind.

DoF. Forwards coach. Defence coach. Goalkeepers coach. Set piece coach. Throw in coach. Now a coaching coach.
What’s the manager do?0 -

f they press and counter-press correctly, that does the job better than assigning a single player
Does that not require a team of players of a calibre better than Rangers can afford?

My XI was what I would like to see, though.
Midfield lacking a running enforcer?

I'm not wanting to know our finances down to the penny, just a good estimate from someone who has links.
Unfortunately, what Bill outlines is what you have to know. Anything else is guessing. Paying current debts can be an indicator of sorts but nowhere near the whole picture.

Fits our profile.

No bully? My old father saw the Kaiser off on it.

Injury ends Jack Wilshere’s playing career.
Bring him home.

Look at the team that night. How could that XI be outplayed even by a very good Aberdeen side? Funny game, the football.

Homemade lentil soup, you say.
Visions of a wee Govan wummin putting the pan on the stove in her kitchen at ten to three and running down the road and up the sterrs with it at twenty to four to cowp it into your bowls. Must be some size of a pan.

“Rangers win race”
Who came second?

The B Team pasted Elgin City tonight. 0-4. All offside, I’m told.

So what's with
"Little Boy Blue,
Come blow your horn"

Let’s not get into the realm of nursery rhyme. Too much violence and innuendo.

Touting one’s horn? Disgraceful. Ladies and young children might be reading this board. On second thoughts, they’re probably not.
”Tooting” might be safer. “blowing” should be avoided. The mischief is put right by ditching “horn” for “trumpet”

For St Mary's and the mid table drudgery that follows.
The wages might make up for it but, no, Villa’s a better proposition than So'ton.

This is still mostly Gerrards team and IIRC in 3 of the last 4 seasons, they have effectively handed the title to Celtic, post winter break.

That same team built by Gerrard have done fantastically well on a consistent basis.
I think the Europa League is somewhere that suits us wrt being competitive (and it has motivated players to greater heights).
buster’s rapid fire on target again.

NB I am certain that J Scot Symon, also of Rangers, played both football and cricket for Scotland
Correct.

I only refer to one other ‘keeper as goalie (non league family friend before Goram’s time) Goram was - is - THE goalie.

How many on here actually buy and wear the top ?
Never.

I don’t see Jock Shaw wearing that.

You remember him ?
Don't often meet or speak with people who saw him play.
Never saw him play except on newsreel but read plenty and heard radio commentaries on the international matches (Peter Thomson and Raymond Glendenning) Your uncle was always rated in the press reports. Got his caps when other inside forward options were available - Steel, Hamilton, Turnbull, Wardhaugh, Johnstone. Wealth of talent and none played for Rangers or celtic.
Scored against Rangers in East Fife’s League Cup semi-final victory. Every family has its black sheep.

My uncle (Allan Brown) played alongside them in the same forward line. Blackpool paid a then record transfer fee (26,500) to a Scottish club for his services.
Respect. Great footballer.

Goal kicks, free kicks, corners and penalties. Not a lot and all within the province of the head coach, surely.
