I laughed too much at this. Exactly what is that. I'll nip into the barber for a side shed. Must be a Edinbra saying
When you were a wee north-east loon, your mother never put a sheddie into your hair?

The media like to portray all the strikers as 50k+ per year drivers, which is far from the truth, there's a hell of a lot of lower paid staff involved.
The drivers do different strikes, though, don’t they?

What’s a “beverage experience”?
It’s not a drink, is it?

I would be pleased if B’mouth and So’ton went down. Nothing against Fulham. I just think of them as Football League Div 2.

Can’t argue with that although I do like my ‘keepers to be shot stoppers first and foremost. It sort of fits with the job description. McGregor’s problem is that his command of the box, never his strongest suit, is diminishing leading to errors and goals so McLaughlin it should be.

Coming back to reality, I used to enjoy the pies in the restaurant at Lewis’s Argyle Street.

A decent display and a victory and Emily Upjohn to win the King George VI.&Queen Elizabeth stakes
She’ll never win against horses, compo. I hope you don’t lose your Ayr winnings.

As an aside, I attended the Civil Service Strollers v Rangers B game last night. We lost 2-1 and it was a disappointing performance and result.
Cuffed by a bunch of clerks.

Don't like theirs, Murdoch Allan has is the best in the whole North East. Anyway Albert Bruce is ahem one of them.
Thanks. That inside information changes everything and, yes, MA’s butteries are excellent.

Let’s hope Bonnington is successful in any complaint he may have but in his time he gave an impression of himself being slavishly biased in favour of anyone but Conservatives.

Mount Olympus or North Berwick Law certainly poses a bit of a tough choice
OK Gullane, then.

Should have gone to North Berwick, as usual.

I think when there is an option to buy there is a contractual obligation for the parent club to accept a pre agreed fee.
Not necessarily. It could be an option to tender a fee for the seller to accept, reject or negotiate on exclusively ahead of any other potential buyer.

I've been to a few functions in the Chambers and it's always a surprisingly been good.
Not all plates will bear poisoned food. Probably the vessels with the pestles. Or maybe the chalices from the palace.

Will the stock of Bassey playing in Scotland get any higher ?
We could qualify in the CL and he shows up well or he gets ragdolled but high quality players, uncertain.
I could see Willie Henderson turning Bassey inside out and while Harold Davis could stand up to him, I don’t see even Davis rag-dolling him.

Surely not? After nearly winning the Europa? Qualifying for the CL will set the agenda for the rest of the season.
It’s all right. My expectations have been low every season since 1965/66 apart from the Gazza/Laudrup years and Advocaat’s spell pre O’Neil.

I’ve been pontificating quite happily about this but is there a set piece coach at Ibrox?
1 hour ago, Rousseau said:I've mentioned Huddersfield this season, who have a superb set-piece coach, because they've scored 20 goals (or something like that) from corners
That’s an impressive number. What sort of goals? Intricate decoys and mesmerising reverse passing from the kick or traditional centre half arriving in the box at speed and powering in a header Gough/Jackson style?

Calvin Bassey is wanted by Brighton and Ajax
Brighton? He can do much better than that.
Ajax? Hope not because I don’t think they buy expensively.

So do I. We don’t want the emotional baggage that will be heaped onto Kiev, not by Dynamo themselves but by outsiders.
