Wonder if he would come to Rangers. 😉
Hodgson a better option than Moyes to be fair.

We spent £5M on Yilmaz, btw
Far too much on the evidence so far.

Your football takes are on shaky ground
Long experience has proved that, so you’re right.

True, though. Moyes is not the worst option of the range of available managers with some sort of pedigree. I don’t think Potter would get the time he would need to improve the team and he would cost more than Rangers would pay. Having said that, some managers can bring about immediate change and even success.

This is a ludicrous take.
I’m struggling to see where Gonzo’s wrong.

Weather is improving you’ve paid your season ticket money up front so you owe them nothing so it’s time to get the golf clubs out or the bowling balls or as I do go racing .
You’re not advocating spectator strike, surely? Wait ‘til mid June/July when you’ll be craving Rangers, warts and all.
A warts XI might be an interesting selection for the tedious days of summer. A few to pick from. Rothen, Cribari. Valentine. Windass, I wonder.

Oh dear. Toffeemen one place above Forest in the relegation zone, level on points but a less horrible goal difference.
Mags still flying - maybe a wee bit of luck - and City relentless.
It’s up to the Gunners tomorrow. If they duff up the scouse they’re over Bechers for the second time and entering the home straight.

With regard to Alfie’s goal, the bheggar lost his balance. Not even the anointed can simultaneously push backwards at an opponent and lean forwards to head the ball. Meantime, Tillman is shovelled out of the way and Jack is held captive on the goal line.
So, out of that incident, Rangers are entitled to a goal and two penalties and get nothing. There is no referee conspiracy. Clancy is perfectly open about the fact that he supports celtic and will do what’s necessary. There was no hoodwinking. None required. Only an honest man can be deceived.

And the irons managers job in jeopardy, I wonder if Moyes could be interested in coming to Rangers.
I can think of worse.

Lampard accepts an offer to manage Chelsea until the end of the season.
They would have been better keeping Potter and sacking him when the permanent replacement is ready, presumably at the end of the season.

I was half right. Big improvement.
Great victory for the Mags.

Hammers and Reds to win. Can only hope I’m wrong. I’ve got form for it.

The yahoos are a club who thrive on media hype and self fanaticism. They are no world beaters
I know what you’re getting at, Rab and you’re right. The trouble is, that for two seasons they’ve been Rangers beaters and pretty much trouncers of every other club in the league.
The fact that they’re not world beaters means that it should be within Rangers’ grasp to overtake them again.

Ah, the simplicity of old time language.

Everton draw 1-1 with ‘Spurs at Goodison and rocket up the table to fifteenth place with twenty seven points four ahead of So’ton at the foot. Palace are twelfth with thirty points. Two defeats for them and two wins for So’ton and the gap is a single point. Very unsettling for nine clubs. By this time in the season it’s usually four, maybe five, contemplating the drop.

at the moment we look terrified when we take the field against them.
Correct. That was clear from the shots of the teams in the tunnel at the LCF. Tav in particular looked like a frightened rabbit.

I don't think they need time at all.
Lack of pressure, then? Other than to stay respectable. Swans and Seagulls aren’t exactly big birds.
I wonder if Potter had any say in the player acquisition strategy at Chelsea.

The Ibrox reference was pre-elevenses hyperbole.
Do you think Potter-style coaches need plenty of time and not much pressure?
Eddie Howe might disprove that idea.
0 -
Nope. He’s ok at wee clubs but if he can’t do it at Chelsea, he’s got no chance in the Ibrox stratosphere.

Geordie Boys whack the Reds. Good.

To go to West Ham?

Never been to Milan. Florence a few times so I favour the Viola.
Back to auld claes an’ paiirritch. You’ll be disappointed to have missed a big indy march on 1 April. Quite a lot of dispirited folk, most of them in clown garb, trudging down the Royal Mile, one woman screaming to end the occupation of Scotland.
Imagine missing that for Italy.

Arsenal not exactly fallers at Liverpool but a heavy landing at the last fence and heavy going on the run in.
Their next fixtures should be winnable without much problem.
